Tasks 5 and 6: Different learning styles and differentiation


General observations

Focus: On the learner.

Objective: Student teachers will observe and report on how learners are different.

For this observation, you will observe a class for 1 hour and take notes. The following questions
will help you focus.

1. What do you notice? Identify the students who answer the questions?
I noticed in class room one student who answer each questions the teacher gave to them ,
he a smarter than other students , his name is khaled
2. Identify the students who are quiet? Identify students who do not seem focused?
I observed one students was all the time quiet and l dont hear his voice in the class room but
he was did everything the teacher needed from them while other one was do not focused on
the lesson and play all the time
3. Identify learners who finish activities quickly? What do they do when they have finished?
I noticed many students did their works and activates quickly like Ali , Salem and Fatima . after
they finish must of them help other students or do another activities
4. Are there learners who do not finish a task(s)? How does the teacher deal with them?
there are some learners do not complete or finish their tasks so the teacher let them take more
time to finish their works or let them complete it in their home and bring it in the next day
5. Are there any learners with special needs? What kind of special needs do you think they
have? How does the teacher deal with them?

6. How does the teacher manage learners with different levels/abilities?
the teacher have some strategies for students who have a different levels or ability for
example she give a hard tasks or activities for these who have a high level while she help a
low students level by giving them a easy activates
