QBE Pool Indonesia Business Profile
PT Asuransi QBE Pool Indonesia (QBE Pool) is a joint-venture company between QBE Insurance
Group and PT Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk. QBE holds 55% of the paid-up shares and PT Pool holds 45%.
QBE Group initially entered the Indonesian market in 1906 with agencies in port cities, and then in 1913
established a branch office in Jakarta. Our operations ceased during the Second World War, however the
company re-established links with Indonesia in 1981, in association with local insurer PT Pool Advista
Indonesia. In 1994, the two companies further formalised their relationship with the establishment of QBE
Pool.

The company has built a reputation as a leader among Indonesia's joint-venture insurers and has branches located throughout the country
to support its primary distribution channels of agents and brokers. QBE Pool operates from 13 locations with 12 branches, marketing and sales
offices spread throughout various major cities in Indonesia.

The company is focused on providing specialist insurance solutions to businesses, professionals and families in Indonesia. Over the
years, QBE Pool has developed multiple new products to meet the changing needs of Indonesia's rapidly developing insurance market. Drawing
on its specialist expertise, the company offers everything from basic cover, which is quick and easy to apply for, to insurance designed for more
complicated and complex needs. Each of our insurance policies is backed by specialist expertise, whether it has been developed to deal with
complex exposures in liability, commercial property, marine cargo, and hull or to provide a straight-forward package for homeowners, office or
retail clients.

QBE Pools reputation is a reflection of the dedication of our people and the close working relationships we enjoy with our
intermediaries. Intermediaries have always been a critical part of our business and QBE Pool has built strong relationships with numerous
brokers and agents. We continue to further strengthen our relationships with intermediaries who are committed to adding value, in particular
relative to the specialist insurance solutions that we provide to clients. We genuinely believe that our success is built on the strength of our
partnerships and our desire to continuously improve all facets of our business.

QBE Pools focus on meeting the needs of our intermediary partners and clients has guided the company in the establishment of business

Helping big brands tackle a large market

QBE Pool provides insurance coverage to the Indonesian operations of two of the worlds
major brands a global fast food chain and a multinational consumer goods manufacturer. With
restaurants spread across Indonesias 33 provinces, this fast food chain of restaurants has been a
client of QBE Pool in Indonesia for several years. QBE Pool provides liability and property
insurance tailored to the specific of the fast food chain.

The multinational consumer goods manufacturer sells a wide range of dry goods and food
products across Indonesia, everything from soaps and shampoo to ice cream.

Using our extensive local knowledge and working together with a proactive international broker, QBE Pool and the consumer goods
manufacturer are working on a risk management programme to cover the diverse distribution chain that extends 3,000 kilometers across most of
Indonesia's 17,000 islands.
