Priyansh has been in Designing Solutions Ltd. For a year now. When he initially joined the group and
his first project, his immediate supervisor was Rishabh a young manager. Priyansh was always full of
new ideas and shared his views openly but Rishabh was not so open in his communication. He took
Priyanshs ideas and applied some of them but never appreciated him for the work. Rishabh also
started giving extra tasks to Priyansh related to other activities of the project modules. With time,
Priyansh felt that he should not be sharing his ideas as it was never recognized by anybody. In one of
the modules, he had helped his supervisor in creating the module. When the demo was planned with
the senior management, Rishabh went for the demo and was very well appreciated for the work
through emails. The news spread and everyone on the floor was aware of the good work. Priyansh
came to know about the appreciation on the module by some of his team members and after 2-3 days,

Rishabh also told him about it. Over a period of time, Priyansh stopped discussing anything with
anybody and rarely participated in brainstorming.
After six months of work in that team, the immediate supervisor changed and Priyansh was now
reporting to Neha. Neha has been working in Designing Solutions Ltd. for 5 years now and has
experience in multiple projects. As she starts the work on the module and plans for it, she has
requested her team to be a part of a brainstorming session. She noticed that Priyansh was least
participative and got into an informal discussion where she encouraged everybody to speak up. After
a couple of such sessions, Priyansh felt more comfortable and started discussing his ideas and Neha
ensured that she acknowledged all the ideas of the team members. Over a period of time, Priyansh
became one of the best team members and demonstrated the capability of handling tougher tasks as
well. Neha, their leader was very happy with the performance of Priyansh.
In the past few weeks, Priyansh has been closely working with Neha on one of the deliverables.
During this time, Priyansh had a lot of new ideas and as they moved ahead in their work, he shared
his ideas and Neha found logic and implemented most of them. The ideas had freshness in them and
Neha felt happy about the fact that Priyansh was doing a great job. After a months hard work, when
the demo was planned with the senior management, Neha took Priyansh along with her. She wanted
him to be a part of the review ensuring that he feels good. The review went really well and at multiple
places, when there were questions asked by the management Priyansh readily answered them. There
was a feeling of satisfaction in Priyansh as well. The management appreciated the efforts through an
email and categorically highlighted Priyanshs contribution.
