and how students interact with each other and different teaching skills was interesting. ‘Throughout my paper I have no ill words towards any of the teachers I was able to observe. The different levels of autism and other disabilities varied widely while I was at both schools. I will begin with the first school I was able to observe, Vineet L. Triggs Elementary school. ‘The school was very big, the staff was efficient and did a lot for the students their. was able to see three different levels at this elementary school: kindergarten, first grade and second grade. The kindergarten teacher was very happy and had many fun songs for the students to use during learning time. There was a system for the children to use if they needed to use the bathroom or needed a drink. The school has a set of rules in every classroom and throughout the hallways, In the kindergarten room it had grouped desks that was spaced out effectively, Many colorful drawings and fun Dr. Seuss posters, the kids were each given different table names and would transfer from different activities daily based on the chart the teacher had created for them. In the first grade classroom, which would then transfer into a Gen Ed class, there were few students. The class had three teachers that would work with one student at a time and would have the other students doing work or reading silently, The classroom vas also spacious and had fun decorations. The students had computers to use if the teacher allowed them to use them. Transferring over to the Gen Ed class I saw that the class felt a bit cramped with the tables.
