Technology is everywhere, technology is in almost every part of our lives. It affects how
we shop, socialize, connect, play, and most importantly learn. With their great and increasing
presence in our lives it only makes sense to have technology in the classroom. Yet there are some
schools that are delaying the usage of technology in the classroom. If technology is used
correctly, it will help prepare students for their future careers, which will inevitably include the
use of technology.
Integrating technology into the classroom is definitely a great way to reach diversity in
learning styles. It gives students the chance to interact with their classmates. Technology in the
classroom is an encouraging thing for students. Technology helps the teachers prepare students
for the real world environment. As our nation becomes increasingly more technology-dependent,
it becomes even more necessary that to be successful citizens, students must learn how to
properly incorporate technology in their lives. Integrating technology in education everyday
helps students stay engaged.
Todays students love technology so they are sure to be interested in learning if they can
use the tools they love. With technology, the classroom is a happier place. Students are excited
about being able to use technology and therefore are more apt to learn. When mobile technology
is readily available in the classroom, students are able to access the most up-to-date information
quicker and easier than ever before. Students become more responsible technology helps
students take more control over their own learning. Technology should of course stay in the
curriculum at school. Technology can have negative effects but if used properly its a great
benefit to utilize and it helps with learning which is most important.
Technology makes learning mobile, and it encourages to students learn outside of the
school and beyond their schedule at school. Technology in the classroom empowers students to
learn on their own, create, innovate and build knowledge. It allows them to communicate with
others not in their location, opening up new perspectives. It helps them develop team working
skills, necessary in todays world where the problems are best solved by many other minds
working together. Teaching is an art and students still need the guidance of their teachers.
Technology actually enhances the art of teaching and the relationship between student and
teacher by letting the student go over the material at home then bring his/her questions to the
classroom and discuss.
Technology personalizes learning. Students who are struggling or advanced are generally
ignored in the classroom. With technology, those students can receive content at their levels to
keep them challenged. Technology in the class is also helpful to the environment. Students no
longer need to use paper. They can turn in all assignment digitally, read e-texts and digital books,
and take notes on the computer. Accessibility for special needs students. Features like audio
books for the sight impaired, text to speech, speech to text, voice recognition software, and more
make technology an invaluable tool for many. Technology in the classroom is a great source and
should definitely be integrated into the curriculum in schools. Technology is always evolving.
Technology is constantly changing and so same with our students. Its necessary we keep
technology in the classroom because it will keep students up to date with our society and whats
going on. Technology in the classroom will definitely be a beneficial tool to our teachers and
most importantly our students.
At the grade 12 students should be able to type a word processed document that meets
standards. This includes tables, columns, bullets and hanging indents. Students should be
able to develop the topic thoroughly by selecting the most significant and relevant facts,
extended definitions, concrete details, quotations, or other information and examples. Use
appropriate and varied transitions to link the major sections of the text, create cohesion, and
clarify the relationships among complex ideas and concepts. Students in grade 12 should be
able to use precise language, excellent vocabulary, and techniques such as metaphor, simile,
and analogy to manage the topic. Establish and maintain a formal style and objective tone
while attending to the norms and conventions in which they are writing.
Provide a concluding statement or section that follows from and supports the
information or explanation presented (e.g., articulating implications or the significance of the
topic). Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective
technique, well-chosen details, and well-structured event sequences. Engage and orient the
reader by setting out a problem, situation, or observation and its significance, establishing
one or multiple point(s) of view, and introducing a narrator and/or characters. Students
should create a smooth progression of experiences or events. Use narrative techniques, such
as dialogue, pacing, description, reflection, and multiple plot lines, to develop experiences,
events, and/or characters.
Students on a state and local level grade 12 should be able to use a variety of
techniques to sequence events so that they build on one another to create a coherent whole
and build toward a particular tone and outcome. (e.g., a sense of mystery, suspense, growth,
or resolution). Use precise words and phrases, telling details, and sensory language to convey
a vivid picture of the experiences, events, setting, and/or characters. Provide a conclusion
that follows from and reflects on what is experienced, observed, or resolved over the course
of the narrative. Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization,
and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience. Develop and strengthen writing as
needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach, focusing on
addressing what is most significant for a specific purpose and audience.
Use technology, including the Internet, to produce, publish, and update individual or
shared writing products in response to ongoing feedback, including new arguments or
information. Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects to answer a question
(including a self-generated question) or solve a problem; narrow or broaden the inquiry when
appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on the subject, demonstrating understanding of the
subject under investigation. Gather relevant information from multiple authoritative print and
digital sources, using advanced searches effectively; assess the strengths and limitations of
each source in terms of the task, purpose, and audience; integrate information into the text
selectively to maintain the flow of ideas, avoiding plagiarism and overreliance on any one
source and following a standard format for citation.

Wedding from Hell
My aunt got married last week and it was the most embarrassing thing ever. The

reason why it was so embarrassing is because Im Justin Beiber and that is embarrassing

enough as it is. My aunts wedding just gave the paparazzi another story to hit the headlines

and gave me more awkward questions to answer at interviews. Well please dont judge me as

if you guys dont already. Well that day we were at the lake and my aunt and new uncle were

saying their vows. Out of nowhere we hear a great big boom and suddenly the floor

collapsed where my aunt and new uncle were standing on. The whole wedding party came

crashing down into the water splashing us all in the audience. Majority of the wedding guests

were wet from being splashed and that was only the beginning of the embarrassment.

Finally after things get settled down we all decide after an hour to continue with the

vows. The whole wedding party and guests were all sitting at the table and my aunt and uncle

were exchanging vows. The night before I had some taco bell and I really was starting to

regret it. As my aunt and uncle are exchanging rings I let out a big fart. Everyone looked

surprised and didnt know what to do. My aunt looked the most surprised. She looked at my

uncle and says really? Thats all you could do? Apparently the ring my uncle bought her

was from Walmart. I knew from the start I never really liked the guy. To top it all off the

story gets even better. After another hour of us hearing my aunt yell at my new uncle we all

decide to go dance in the field by the lake. Everyone is at the lake having a great time and we
start to feel the earth shake. I yelled everyone its okay its just my stomach again from Taco

Bell. I then was embarrassed again because I realized it wasnt my stomach. The earth was

shaking uncontrollably this was something we all didnt know was coming. A big dinosaur

comes out of the water and begins to chase us all. I was so upset because I wore my favorite

pink shoes that day. This has been the most embarrassing day only because Selena Gomez

was my date and after that she broke up with me stating she NEVER wants to get married.
