go and use it for their own work or their own game. So say if you make a
character that is seen to be popular then people are going to want to have
the same popularity with their games. So they might want to go and use
them for their own game so you need a way to keep the assets for
yourself. So thats when this comes in it lets you keep all of your own
things so no one else can. It protects you from having your ideas stolen.

This is when a big corporation uses something that another company have
made but just make it look different at the core it is really the same game
like if a company say call of duty have their game and then I wanted to
make my game like theres. I could make it run like theres have the same
gun machines and have the same game play fetchers. But I will change
the name of the game and the change the visual ascetics. And then
change the sounds as well. But at the core the game is the same. This can
be seen with the game that I am going to be making I am going to be
using to games as inspiration. The two games are going to be call of duty
MW and MW2 and the other game I am going to be using is going to be
battlefield. Now with this I am not going to be using theses game and
thats it no I might use some machines they have used or the play style
that the game is played but I wont be using names of character models. I
will be using my own names and characters.

Sports
There are lots of different sports games out there that are all based
around a signal sport. All sports games are simulators and they simulate a
sport and in some cases the sport can be made in to different kinds of
games like the game fifa in the game you can play as the full team or you
can play as the manager of the team tell them what to do. With the
football genre you can have other games in it like football manager which
is just you being the manager of a team these are some of the feahers
that you have in the fifa sports game there are some other sports game
like WWE 2k and that is a fighting game and one of the only sports game
that has got an age rating over 12 it is an 18.
Adventure
Advertner games are some of the most detailed games and have the most
story behind them. They are normal big sandbox game where you can go
around and do whatever you want and they will set you out somewhere to
go and look at different things some advenrter game are like Skyrim that
is an advancer game you get to go around the world. And you get to go on
an edvencher. The adventure games are all about exspoling and that is
what the game Skyrim dose you get to go out and explore the world the
big thing about advancer games is there is a lot of storytelling you are
going to be playing the role of someone that had got a significant role in
the game they ae going to be the protagonist you will normal see
advencher games as a singalplayer games they do not romale have an
online game they are just you in a big open airea but there are some
advercher games where they are not played in a bog sandbox airea like
the game like the game lora croft toomraider now that is a mission based
game where you do one misson and the nafte that you do another but you
are taken to a new airea but while doing this you are advnchering

Action
Action game have been seen to be some of the most popular games out
there they have got a buzz about them and one of the reasons for this
could be the games that are in the genera the games are like the call of
duty games they are a very popur game and the reason for this is because
the game is very fast paces and you are moving very quick when you are
playing this kind of game all action games you are going to be playing as
an avatar and the you would have to complete physical challenges and in
some cases mantle challenges the big goel in most action game is to
surive the mission and then make It on to the next one in the games like
call of duty and battlefield you are playing as one character all the way
though the game and you have to beat somone who is trying to kill you
and you will go though each mission and as you go on they get harder
and harder to do the mission and most of the time you will be doing
theses missions on foot but in some games cases you will be doing the
missions in vilacls you will see this more in the battlefield games as there
big selling point is that they have vicals that you can drive. And that could
be anything from bugges to tanks up to jets and that might be you
fighting other people in them. The biggest selling point with action games
is there online most of the action games these days is going to be playing
online so that is you fighting someone else but with your avatar.
Simulation
There didnt used to be that many simulate games out there but in two
days generation of gamers there is a growing number of simulate players.
What they are is you will be playing as someone doing an activate so that
you can siulat what they are going to be doing. So say you are going to be
playing flit simulate you will be simulating someone who is going to be
flaying a plan and then in the game you are going to be flying a plan like
its for real and whatever you do is going to happen to the plan that you
are flying like its for real another game that is like this is sims and in this
game you are going to be playing as a man or a woman and you basically
simulate your perfect life and you will play it out and you control what
your player dose what he says what he wears and how he talks to other
people so you run there lifes like there yours. Another game like this is
farm simulator where you play as a framer

This is a type of game in which you will be playing as a group of people
and you will be telling what to do and where to go this is like the game
halo wars and what is you are enchag of an arme and you will be telling
them what to do and how to do it you are given a base in the game and
what you have got to is go and make your bass as big as you can and
then might a big arme out of it as well you will and then after you had
done that you will need to make youre arme go and destroy the other
bases that are out there but they will have been doing the same thing so
you will have a better arme then them another game like this could be the
game chest and you can play that online as well with other people and
that is a tragagey game but that is normal played

There are games out there that are the kind of games that are going to try
and get you to think about what you are going to be doing in the game
there are games like the lora croft games where you will be going through
all the missions and then find out how to fix some puzzles and thy make
you have to use youre head and as the missions go on the puzzles will
get harder and harder to do but as you go through the levels you are
leering how to do different things and then though that you are going to
find the harder things easy to do another puzzle game is the game tetrus
and what that is you need to make each block fit in with ech other and the
blockers lower down at a slow pacse but as you go on the black get faster
and faster so you will need to keep up with it

Most modern video games have got a role plying aspect to them so it
would normal be something and role playing game some of the games like
this is the call of duty games in most of the game you will be playing as an
arme soldier like in call of duty MW2 you play as the solder roach and play
the hole game as him so you would be role playing as him another game
that dose this is the game Skyrim in that you are playing as someone who
is a really good worrier and you are role playing as this knight and most of

There are games out there where you are going to have to go and manage
what happens in the game this can be seen a lot in the simulate games
but there is some other game out there like this. One of the games is
football manager and what that gives you is the option to manage a
football team but there is also a lot to go with that. You need to go out and
buy players and you need to make sure that you have enough money for
it as well and then you have to manage your team make youre there all
fit and ready most othert video game out there like this are mostly just
video games that will have you run your own town or a house anything
that will put you inchare of something and you will have to manage all
kinds of different things

Some video games out there can be educational you would most likely see
them on lareing websites so ones that school would try and get you to
play but you can also see them in young childrens games because
parents see that as a way of getting their kids to learn and also have fun
most of the games would be maths games because they are the easiest to
make a game out of what it would be is it would come up with a maths
problem then the game will ask you to solve it and then you progress in
the game but there can be based on other subjects like English and maths
you can see teachers start to use them in their lessons because they see
it as a good way for their students to learn so they implant them in their
lesson plans which means its starting to get more popular.

can be on a website and it can be shown in anyway the best way that
most people do this is by making a video and then putting it on popular

website youtube they play there videos just before most videos that are
out there so you would watch this promaton and then you would watch
the video you would want to see.
My choses
I am going to be doing my game in the ganra of action the reasons for this
is because the game idea I had fits in well with what I want my game to
be plead like so the action greanis a good choice for what I am going to be
doing my game is a first person shooter that is based around a small SAS
team and you can play as one of the creators in the team the age for my
game is going to be 18 + because of the language that is going to be used
and the violence that is also going to be done.

The audiences in video games is very impotent because you want to make
your game fit in with the kind of things that they are going to want to see.
So you are going to have to taler to their likeiling if you have been making
a game series so like call of duty 1,2 and 3 you are going to need to make
sure that if the audience like the first one and then the second one then
you are going to have to keep to thoughts standards you cant make a
game and the first one people really liken and then completely change the
one after that beucse you would be taking away something that people
really like and then making something that they could possibly be making
something that they dont like so you would need to make something that
that they are going to like

Age
The age in video game is very import because that can have diced if some
parents want their kids playing a game if you have a game that is an 18
then some parents arent going to want their kids playing the game. You
also need to know the gage that your game is going to be if you have a
game that is a 12 and it has got lots of swearing in it then people are
going to think that they have been misled and it could lead to complaints
to your game so you need to make sure that your game is the right age
the age for the game that I am going to be making is going to be 18 the
reason for this is that my game had got a lot of violence in it. Its also got
strong langue so 18 Is right for it
Gender
most games out there now can be played by both genders there isnt
really any games that are just for guys or just for girls they are both
nowadsy like with the game call of duty it used to be just played by guys
but now it is being played by both in the game you can pick weather you
are a geils or a boy and play the game in that gender there are other
game out there that are like thisb like the game halo in this game you can
either be a guy or a girl but only in the multiplier because in the signal
player the protagonist is a male but one of the Maine reasons is beucse
the game has been going for so long that when it was first made guys
only really played video game so it only gives you the close of male
beucse it Is the same.

Core gamers are the kind of people revolve around the gaming and that it
is three whole lives being as core gamer could also means you have got a
gaming addiction so that you do anything but think about playing a game
thats all you do day in and day out but there are some people out there
that play video games for a job they play them competitively against
other people and they get paid for it but to do this you would need to be
very good at the game and play them nonstop. This is very different to
casual gamers they are the kind of people that you play games just for
run with their friends they dot really take it that serially where you have
core gamers that play it 24/7 the casual gamers might just play it for a
few hours a day they might only play it or 3 times a week they wouldnt
play it for that long
Gaming communities
There is a massive gaming communite out there that is dedicated to only
one thing and that thing is gaming and in the communite they have other
ones for different games like they would have one for the game call of
duty there would also be one for fifa and battlefield. And the people who
make the games would know about these and they would listen to them
and try and make the games suit them the game makers use them to find
out what their games need or what is wrong with them and then they will
try and make their games better. You would normal see them on social
meadia and they would use them to voice them completes

Preferred game genre

My preferred game genre is advnrcher sandbox game the reason for this is
because I feel they have got there a lot of different feachers and you can
go all around the and so whatever you want and with them youre not
stuck doing something boring. If you dont like the mission that you are
doing you can just go and do something else youre not just bogged down
doing something that you dont want to do you can just go and doing
something that you enjoy there is also a lot more going on in these types
of video games

computer you can play 64 vs 64 which is a much bigger game and normal

reason for this is because its a lot easier to play on a conal then to play
on a computer because you have to find out which computer is best for
you and you would also need to find out whether your game can be

consoles you can play any game you want as long as its made for your
console of chose you would have to think about memory you cant just
have as many games as you want you need to make sure that you have
got the right amount of memory if you have to many games then your
memory is going to be full and then wont let you do it so you are going to
need to delete somethings you can be a core gamer or just a casual
gamer on this you dont have to be hard core gamer to play on an Xbox
Mobile device
This is a very casual gamer device you only really play on your phone
when you are bored or youre on a train going somewhere and you have
nothing else to do. The games that are on your mobile dives are normal
rather small and dont really have much else going on with them. But
there is some mobile games that are very popular like the game angry
birds that was a very popular game and a very big one so big that you can
now get it on your conaluls and youre computer and play it there but it is
a mobile game mostly, most of the mobile games that you can get are
free and a very short amount of money the reason for this is because they
arent that big of games and they dont really have that much more going
