Table 3 above shows the Annual Headline Inflation Rates for the three selected East African
Community (EAC) Member States of Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. Annual Headline Inflation Rate
for the month of April, 2017 in Tanzania has similar trend as in other East African Countries. For
instance, in Uganda it has increased to 6.8% from 6.4% recorded in March, 2017 and Kenya has
increased to 11.48% from 10.28% recorded in March, 2017.
