SAP has come with innovative and most anticipated product that uses In-memory
technology called HANA. HANA is hardware/software appliance which runs on massive
memory and CPU. Just to perform POC would cost too many money for corporations. SAP
has initiated a pilot ramp-up program with a pool of close associates to get access to their
In-house HANA suite.

Pfizer leading pharmaceutical company host drug and safety data warehouses and SAP
Business Objects technologies was chose Enterprise reporting solution. Pfizer houses a
magnitude of clustered Business Objects environments deployed across AMER, EMEA and
APAC regions and there is one shared services team which controls and deploys server
suite. Within short period of time, departmental deployments were replaced by Shared
services environment saving lot of money to company.
Milestones:
- Built SAP Business Objects BI4 clustered multi-environment infrastructure with SSO
using LDAP authentication
- Built SAP Business Objects XI3.1 clustered multi-environment infrastructure with SSO
using LDAP authentication across AMER\EMEA\APAC regions.
- Designed XI3.1/BI4 Pfizer enterprise security across various environments
- Enterprise Dashboarding solution design and implemented across Pfizer.
- Mobile solutions development using technologies like SAP Mobile/ROAMBI.
- Integrate Enterprise Business Objects infrastructure with SAP ERP suite for reporting

MOPAR is the automobile parts and service arm of Chrysler has come up with a project to
build data warehouse to track parts purchases and sales by dealers to end users. It has
come up with different incentive programs to reward dealer sales based on few performance
metrics completely changing the way of giving discounts to dealers every month. Project
involved building data warehouse and datamart for service and Parts. Dealer sales data is
captured by third and sent to Chrysler everyday to Chrysler Mainframes. Using this
tremendous wealthy data, business customers has come up with many Reward programs.
Built many separate universes based on reporting requirements. Business Objects SDK
reports are developed which are deployed on corporate site where dealers can gets reports
securely.
As part of another project, PDCFOT datamart holds logistics data which calculates the
compliance of parts fill over time. Multiple datamart are built to track ordered parts from
shipment until delivered by carriers.
In order that the Chrysler Group is better positioned to respond to market conditions
regarding changing product volumes and mix changes, a Flexible Reporting datamart is built
Business Analyst/SME
Interact with executives constantly in identifying potential Scorecards/Reports for
SALES/MARKETING teams. Lead onsite/offshore teams in completing the requests and
change controls. Replace legacy reporting systems with Business Objects XI with a user
base of 5300 globally.
Interfaced with business users to prepare and update Business Requirement Documents
(BRD). Ensured all requests complied with corporate SDLC Policies and guidelines.
Constantly involved with Business Customers, Portfolio Managers, and District Managers
to gather business requirements and translate to technical requirements to offshore
development team.
Take lead in Dealer CONNECT and Field CONNECT projects which involved deploying SDK
reports on corporate portals for all Dealers in North America.
Installed Business Objects XI R1/R2/3.0 Enterprise Suite on UNIX AIX5.2/5.3 and
Windows 2003 servers on various DBs like DB2, SQL Server. Sized and clustered the
server architecture, complete backend server administration from installation to applying
MHFs and SPs.
Deployed Business Objects XI3.0 web modules on Websphere application server using
console interface and WDEPLOY scripts. Installed Business Objects Portlet on IBM
Websphere Portal Server with LDAP authentication using Siteminder policy server.
Migration of Business Objects Enterprise including Enterprise Performance Management
repositories between various environments using tools like Import Wizard, PMDT from
legacy version to XI3.0 version.
Integrate Business Objects XI3.0 with SAP BW system using SAP Integration Kit. Create
OLAP universe on InfoCubes and SAP BW Queries generated from SAP R/3 VMS.
Worked on BW extractions using LO cockpit. Built various models and workflows using

involved in creating universe and reports for Legal Department to keep track of the legal
cases of past and present on going case records. Created complex reports to meet the
requirement of users using Business Objects 6.5. Work on TeamConnect and Lawpack
applications. worked on converting huge volumes of canned/ad-hoc reports to meet the
requirements of users and executives.
Created universe and required tables and objects for reports generation and maintained
other universes using Business Objects 6.5.1.
Worked closely with Senior Executives for gathering the business requirements and
prepare technical design/specifications.
Involved in training users and providing technical support and resolved issues like bug

by factoring various costs of the components. Suppliers are evaluated quarterly for any
potential part cost reductions.
