Ms. Christine Keillor

Director
HireMe!
4900 Socastee Blvd
Myrtle Beach, SC, 29588

Dear Ms. Keillor:

I am writing to express my aspiration in the summer medical internship at HireMe! due to

my interest in the medical field. My involvement and experience in multiple clubs and activities

has allowed me to obtain valuable personal, physical, and interpersonal skills that would be an

asset to your organization. Please accept this letter and supporting resume as evidence of my

repertoire of skills and qualifications which I trust is precisely what your organization is in

search for.

As a pre-International Baccalaureate student, I have been fortunate to have undertaken

accelerated classes which have developed my ability to absorb information quickly, as noted by

the 2016 Junior Scholar Award for earning an above average PSAT score. By independently

self-teaching myself academic subjects and balancing my teacher-guided studies, I have been

able to forge an exemplary academic foundation. Accepting and balancing my responsibilities is

something I accomplish in my daily life so your organization will find me to be unquestionably

committed to responsibilities handed to me. Moreover, my perfect history of punctual

submissions of assignment to my classes and clubs, which require me to keep up criteria to

maintain membership, is evidence of my time management skills. I have assumed and been given
leadership roles in multiple projects and tasks due to my goal-oriented mindset and ability to face

issues under pressure all while guiding my team members to success. Recently, my group has

depended on me to resolve an issue when our project had broken several minutes prior to our

presentation and I was able to communicate to my team members instructions to fix our project

in an orderly manner. With these capabilities of mine, your organization can have trust in me to

be able to not only complete but excel in tasks independently and without supervision or even

with others.

Some would call me a perfectionist. I tend to over-exert myself on projects and tedious

tasks that may not need a hundred percent of my effort which has unfortunately stolen a lot of

my unnecessary attention. The strengths of my being a perfectionist is that I do not allow myself

to settle for being average thus allowing me to push myself to expectations I know I can reach

and if your organization were to hire me, your organization can not expect anything except the

extra mile I will take as one of you medical interns. I can assure you that HireMe! will find me

to be an asset that will benefit both parties mutually in a way that your organization can not get

with another candidate.

An experience of poor communication that I have encountered was when I had just

started yearbook club and I was tasked to come to a teachers room and ask her to email me a

paragraph about herself thatd be placed in the yearbook. When I had asked her, it was ten

minutes before the next class, so I was in a rush so I had told her only briefly about how I wanted

her to write a paragraph about herself and email me her response. The next day I had come into

yearbook to find out that she had emailed my yearbook supervisor and said I had rudely barged

into her class without knocking, presenting my name or club, and clearly state my favor was
unprofessional and that she would like me to apologize, which I had in the end. In reflection, my

unprofessional process of asking someone for a favor while unclearly presenting my proposal

was a mistake on my part and I appreciate her for pointing out something that I needed to

improve on as someone that interviews strangers daily, so I now take into consideration every

time I ask for something of someone I make sure to make my point clear and concise.

I am seeking to obtain this internship position to expand my knowledge on medicine and

to contribute to your organization and I give you my deepest gratitude for considering me as an

eligible candidate. I would appreciate the chance to meet with you to share how my

qualifications will be a great fit for HireMe!.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Nguyen
