Trace File Analyzer Collector (TFA) is a diagnostic collection utility to simpli

fy diagnostic data collection on Oracle Clusterware/Grid Infrastructure, RAC and
Single Instance Database systems. TFA is similar to the diagcollection utility
packaged with Oracle Clusterware in that it collects and packages diagnostic da
ta - however - TFA is MUCH more powerful than diagcollection with its ability to
centralize and automate the collection of diagnostic information. TFA provides

This is the README file for Trace File Analyzer (TFA) 12.1.2.8.3 Patch Installer

This patch (21757377) installs/updates the "TFA" utility. TFA is used for target
ed collection of trace files and diagnostic data.
TFA can be used with Oracle Database and Grid Infrastructure products from versi
on 10.2. upwards.
Please see the User Guide Supplied with this Patch for full instructions.
This download of TFA includes all tools that are part of the 'Support Tools Bund
le'.
How to install the utility:
---------------------------
To install this patch, Please extract the "zipped file" using unzip.
Simply executing the file installTFALite will upgrade TFA if it is already insta
lled.
By default TFA will be upgraded across all nodes in the TFA configuration where
the TFA daemon is available.
For new or non default installation please follow the instructions as described
in the User Guide.
