GG:
Tell
us
a
little
about
yourself,
who
are
you
and
whats
your
background
story?
TK:
I
am
Ticko,
(Wai
Hang
Liu)
and
I
am
currently
studying
HKBU
and
majoring
in
Visual
Arts.
I
am
a
Hong
Kong
based
artist,
born
and
raised.
When
I
was
a
child,
I
was
the
weird
kid
always
making
things
a
mess.
Maybe
that
was
an
early
sign
of
an
artist
in
the
making.
Even
now,
I
still
love
making
things
into
a
mess.
(Ticko
smiles)
GG:
Tell
us
a
little
about
your
process
of
creation.
TK:
My
process
of
creation
is
the
process
of
questioning
something
and
expanding
from
that.
Most
of
my
artwork
has
been
inspired
by
my
childhood.
Of
course
some
of
my
creations
were
inspired
from
a
different
form
of
spark,
such
as
the
painting
Ai
Wei
Wei
which
I
painted
the
year
he
was
arrested.
GG:
Tell
us
something
about
you
that
no
one
else
knows?
TK:
I
dont
have
any
secrets;
secrets
are
nothing
but
an
annoyance.
GG:
Do
you
listen
to
any
music
as
you
work
and
if
so,
what
is
your
favorite
genre
to
listen
to?
TK:
Of
course
I
listen
to
music
when
Im
working,
I
love
noise
music
such
as
Deadmau5,
he
is
by
far
my
favorite
DJ.
GG:
Tell
me
about
an
artist
who
inspires
you.
TK:
Andrew
Salgado.
I
admire
his
artwork
and
his
technique.
The
strong
impact
of
his
work
inspires
me,
I
can
feel
the
charm
and
the
atmosphere
of
his
work;
from
this,
I
inspire
to
create
artwork
that
has
the
ability
to
emit
these
similar
emotions,
but
in
my
own
distinct
voice.
GG:
What
are
some
of
your
hobbies?
TK:
I
drink
coffee,
a
lot.
Basically
my
body
is
made
up
of
coffee.
GG:
What
is
your
favorite
song?
TK:
Imagine
Dragons-
Believer
Just
the
lyrics
themselves
will
mesmerize
you.
GG:
Name
one
of
your
biggest
aims
that
youre
aiming
to
achieve
in
your
artist
career.
TK:
I
have
three;
have
my
work
achieve
a
position
at
Art
Basel,
earn
a
comfortable
living
through
being
a
full
time
artist
and
having
my
work
have
a
significant
impact
towards
its
viewers.
