2x + 2y + z = 4.

We have that E is bounded above by z = 4 2x 2y, and below by z = 0, giving us the


bounds on the interior integral, namely 0 z 4 2x 2y.
The intersection of the plane 2x + 2y + z = 4 and the xy-plane is the line y = 2 x, so we can
use 0 and this line as a bound on y, ie, 0 y 2 x.
Finally, we have that since the smallest y and z can be are zero, we have that 0 x 2. Putting
all of these together gives us
