Blue Bird and Mortality.

Once upon a time there were only blue skies and brown earth. On the brown earth there

was nothing but dirt and water but no life lived here. In the sky there lived a being that soared

high into the blue sky. It was a blue bird that lived in the sky above the clouds. He rested in the

clouds when he was too tired. The bird grew to feel lonely. It came down to earths lifeless

world. He grew sad to see the land so barren. The blue bird began to sing. It sang the song of life.

In an instant the song of life brought forth every living being that now lives in the world today.

The last creature to come to life were the humans whose intelligence differed from the

rest of the creatures. Humans questioned everything. And one day they questioned what would

happen if they died, would they come back? The humans went up to the mystical great blue bird

and asked what would happen. The bird said it didnt think about that. So the great blue bird sang

a song of death which would affect every living being. The great mystical bird regretted this

decision. His new friends slowly began to die after every each one reached its time. In order to

settle this he tried to sing the song of life again but it did not work as well as he wanted to.

Instead the creatures created offspring that took the place of their predecessor. But mystical blue

bird could never get his the first generation of beings back.
