frequency like sometimes or usually to say how
often we do things, or how often things happen.

Show students a list of the most common adverbs of


frequency when talking about daily routine. Example:

3. After explain the correct structure when forming


sentences with adverbs:

Subject + adverb + verb (conjugated in third person)


+ complement

If often rains in this city


I always call my parents when I travel

4. Ask each student to give one example, to say one


sentence using one of those adverbs.

Practice:

1. Show students a reading about Emas daily routine


and have each student read two sentences from the 10
text, continue until everybody has participated. Then minutes
give feedback on their reading and also explain new
words.

After the reading, have each student write down their
own daily routine. Ask them to choose only one day of
the week to write the routine. They have to use
adverbs of frequency using the correct structure
previously discussed. When they finish they have to
read it aloud for the tutor and partners.
