1. Introduction
2. Problem Definition
The current system that they are using is spreadsheet/Excel, and because of that
some data are not located properly. During theres a transaction they open the
entire folder in order to find that specific data. The sales and report is not really
organized. They are using both ways to keep the record of stock purchase,
inventory, sales monitoring, etc. Following this method is very time consuming and
tedious. It has many drawbacks as there may be mistakes while recording large
data and this may disrupt the important transaction.
3. Objectives
Super Admin:
Super admin can view all the transaction that being done by the user.
She/he can monitor the sales, and also remaining stock.
She/he can do all transaction.
Super admin easily view the sales of their stock holders.
User:
User is the one who encode the transaction of what the system needed.
User cant view the sales.

OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
The primary aim of the system is to give convenience and reliability and most of all
is it computer-based system in terms of entering into any establishment. The
following are the main objectives of the system:
With the increasing number of false identity it is not surprising that the technology
continues to introduce new and better ways to do this for our safety improvement.
Identification system has become a very reliable way to ensure security.
This is the best way to ensure that only authorized personnel are entering the
facility. IMSS will make double-check the identity of a person by using the system.
The Information Management Security System helps to manage all the people who
are entering inside the ESTABLISHMENT because it promotes the safeties of all the
people inside. It can also help to run the growing business more efficiently.
The student may use this study for educational purpose especially with Visual Basic
6.0, .Net, PHP and MySQL, because they may gain some knowledge for their
subject. They may also propose this type of system when they have their own thesis
and reference and for related literature. They will have an idea on how this system
works. They may also propose this in any organization and institution.
The terminal is new to the city so it does not use any system and is currently not
using any technology. It only uses paper, log books and pen to record the
information of the vehicle. The problem with the terminal that has no system is that
the records can be misplaced because it is only recorded on log books. Also, the
terminal does not have the records of the plate numbers of the vehicles that enters
the said establishment. Information can be manipulated due to unsecured method
that is being done through pen and paper only. Logbooks are not that secured for it
could be misplaced or damaged because it is a concrete document.
The toll management system will be develop to help terminal management in their
operation to be made smoother. It is a technology that allows for electronic
payment of tolls. And with the help of this system can determine whether a passing
car is registered, automatically charging those vehicles, and alert the local highway
patrol about the passers that not registered. However, not all toll ways users are
equipped with the necessary on-board devices to enable the Bus Terminal Toll
Management System.
The system feature the following Automatic Boom Barrier which will served as the
barriers for the passing cars while paying for their toll. The camera, which will take a
picture of the passing car, the barcode scanner which will scan the barcode of the
car, to know the classification, and to determine if the car is registered. Traffic light
which will signal the car to go or to stop. A LCD display is used here to give the
output amount. Printer to print the receipt the hardware part of the system covers
the whole electrical system and a hardware installation.
Objectives
General Objective
To monitor the movement of vehicles that goes in and out of the terminal and
generates the daily, weekly, monthly and annual income. And to provide technology
to terminal operators.
Specific Objectives
To be familiar with the vehicle movement inside the terminal
To track whether the vehicle route is city bound or out bound vehicle
To determine the number of vehicles that enters the terminal
To determine the toll fee that should be charged to the vehicle that enters
the terminal.
To generate a report by vehicle type
To generate a report on vehicles by owner/company
To help the government in reducing the number of unregistered cars.

1. Bluetooth module must be compatible with the device to receive signal in both ends
2. Arduino GSM shield is properly plugged in to receive/send SMS notification through the
registered user number
3. Android based mobile application has been created where the password of the user will be
entered and making sure that it is being encrypted
4. Functionality of solenoid used for the door lock
Scope and Limitation of the Study
Scope:
The simple door lock system can be used in residential places to ensure safety. It can also be used in an
organization to ensure authorized access to highly secured area.
Limitation:
Bluetooth is developed for short range communication. Bluetooth Devices are normally having low power
and low cost. It can only transmit signal up to 100 meters. The battery usage during a single transfer is
negligible, leaving the device switched on will lowers battery life. Android based mobile application should
be installed in the smart phone and user can generate password that should match with the password
assigned in the system. Only the registered mobile number can receive an SMS notification every time
the door opens or closes. The

Design Criteria
This project was developed to be used by home owners or in offices. Its main advantage is to open the
door lock using an android phone where password is encrypted and home owners mobile phone will be
notified every time the door opens. The main objective of this system is to added security at home and
though the concept is automation, traditional key will still be used as an alternative.
The project will used an Arduino, a simple microcontroller board and open source development
environment used to control GSM/GPRS shield for the SMS notification and Bluetooth shield for the
signal transmitted to the solenoid for opening the door.

Web Based School Management System in PHP MySQL
Scope of the Project
The objective of the proposed system and basically, the main concern of this proposed system are to
speed up the enrollment process, starting from the student registration, student enrollment and
assessment and down to payment of fees. Fast and easy transactions with a high rate of accuracy are
also some of the major concerns of this system.
The proposed system will definitely shorten and minimize the hassles of the existing system. Still, the
procedures are the same like the registration of the students but instead of doing this manually it will be
computerized. Before enrollment procedure will start, the system has a capability to setup enrollment
process from setting current school year, subject offering and management, section offering and
management, add/modify/delete records and etc. After a student register and submit necessary
requirements, the student will need to fill up the enrollment form for admission then validate enrollment
form by the encoder and encode subjects including class schedules and printed as pre-enrollment form.
Student Assessment and billing of accounts will be done on the Cashier or Assessor where the cashier
will browse the system and choose student to be billed. After billing, payment of accounts will follow
where the system will automatically calculate the total amount paid and amount to be paid then generate
instantly reports and receipts. Once the student have paid his accounts or paid some of his accounts then
the cashier will release the official receipt.
This study seeks to develop a system that will address the following:
To implement a fast, easy and systematic way of conducting student profiling, enrollment, and
assessment.
To properly manage the enrollment process in a well-organized manner.
To generate quickly a correct, accurate and reliable enrolment and assessment report of a
student.
To generate instantly needed summarized and accomplishment reports.
The system includes a computerized registration and enrollment form. It allows users to fill in the form and
submit. It allows the administrator side to retrieve information. It can severely reduce the amount of
duplicate effort required for multi-enrollees. The system would record student information, student
enrollment, fees- collected and uncollected and billing of accounts. It cannot be altered or modified by
other users (students, registrar, cashier & teachers) except for the administrator (the only one who have
full access to the system).
Each module has specific roles in the system that will tell us that it is a comprehensive enrollment system.
However, the system is not web based. The following are the main features/modules we will be
integrating in the system: (a) Administrative Module (b) Registrar Module (c) Student Information Module
(d) Enrollment Module (e) Cashier Module.
Systems operations proceed faster, more efficiently and with greater accuracy than manual
enrollment systems.
Reduce processing time and human errors.
Records can be easily searched and reports can be easily generated.
This topic will enumerate the end-users of the system and their specific functions:
Administrators
Administrators have full access to the system. Theyre the one who manage and control the system.
Registrars
Registrars are responsible for encoding student information, manage credentials and generate enrollment
statistics.
Cashiers
Cashiers are the one who receive payments from the students, manage fees, and create student ledger
and other financial reports.

Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology develops to create a well-organize line-up of
the students in their every transaction to the college tellers. The said institution uses the very common
sequence that may see in our everyday life.
The proposed system entitled Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology can make the
teller faster in their works because the said system can manipulate or handle the students in the way that
they dont have to personally knock on the tellers window just to give their names and transact their
school payments. This is truly that the Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology gives
improvement and the processing will make less time and effort to the college tellers in the payments
operation.
PROJECT CONTEXT
Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology is a system that can manipulate in monitoring
the priority of the teller to the students during examinations and enrollments. It may be easier to the
students to process their payments by using such technology. Identification cards of the new students has
now a barcode that is very applicable for the proposed system for it uses a barcode reader that the teller
will not waste his/her time asking whose next and by also asking their identity. In the proposed system,
the new identification card is very useful, for it has already a barcode at the back. Precisely, the proposed
system is very useful for the operation of monitoring the fairness line-up of every student to the teller.
Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology is a system which basically facilitates the well-
organize line-up system of every students transaction to the tellers. It specify the formal processing of the
students for the reason that other students that is not in the line-up just got first to transact with the tellers.
Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology is one way to solve this unorganized system.
OBJECTIVES
To provide a better and easy process of every students transactions
Well-organize manipulation of students line-up
Fairness of every student during releasing of permits for examination and paying their
payments.
SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS
This study focuses on the faster transactions of every client of tellers. The system is focusing on the
better and fairness students line-up in every examinations and enrollments. It manipulates the well-
organize processing of there every assessments payment for the reason that not all the students were
honest in terms of their behaviors.
Queuing System Using Smart Card or Barcode Technology is usable by swiping the students
identification cards in the barcode reader device. The system is capable for the up-coming years because
each of the identifications cards has its already a barcode.
The effectiveness of the study limits only on the swiping of every students identification cards to the
barcode reader that can be seen outside the tellers window before they can process their school
payments. The proposed system was designed to develop the current tellers process.

PROCESS FLOW
1. The students or the one that will conduct a transaction in the cashier will swipe his or her id in
the scanner, information associated with id will be sent to the tellers system. They just have to wait
until their name is called.
2. The teller will then receive the information and conduct a transaction.
3. This is a first come first serve system, which means the first to swipe is the first to serve.
