Civil disobedience

Civil disobedience is as much about the inquiry of what we deserve as citizens as much as it is as

about the suppression of ideas and freedoms. We live in a society that asks for us to be curious,

innovative, and imaginative but when we are and we seek change our ideas are crushed by those

unwilling to change. Life itself is based they want and need for more. When you get to the top of

the hill there will be others trying to push you down. What a better way to prevent others from

reaching power than suppressing their want for change.

Does the idea of civil disobedience relate more so to the desire for change or the argument for

things to stay the same?

Civil disobedience:

Great Britain vs. Colonists

Confederates vs. the Union

Civil rights movement vs. Government

LBGT community vs. Government

Nazi party vs. Government

Legalization vs. Government

Civil disobedience is always a battle for change promoted by the people in contrast to the ruling

powers morals and beliefs. The change is not always beneficial or progressive for everyone but

its a struggle between government and the people.
