This example demonstrates:

the simple calculation of a steel and concrete composite beam


the good agreement with verified results

The structured system and the preparation for RM2000 is shown in figure 1. The bridge
is built using continuos shoring. Therefore there are no additional internal forces. The
two loading cases (self weight and vertical settlement of the support) are creep active
permanent loads.
