My production is a music video. The song im using is called Afterglow by

Wilkinson, this song goes under the dance genre. My idea for the video is to
have a group of girls who are good friends having fun and partying all night
long. It sounds like an average music video however, im using camera
techniques and equipment, which will make the aesthetic side of the video
look really eye pleasing. There is no narrative to the video so people can
make their own narrative out of it when watching it.
Vibe should publish my production because it is unique for the music industry
to have a music video that isnt making girls sexualised. Its introducing
something new into the market, which proves to people that you dont have
to spend a lot of money on a production for it to work out.

Target Audience
When I asked the public what gender the audience will be and the age I
found out people think my idea has more of a young adult female
approach, I can agree with them on this because my video is mainly centred
around teenage girls having fun, meaning the biggest audience would be
teenage girls as they would find it more relatable to their lives, and how
similar each teenage girls life is.

Market competitors
My main competitors are the students in my class. This is because thats who
im up against and theres actually a chance for competition as were all on
the same level. I can produce a better production that my peers because I
am going to be buying cheap but effective things that will make my
production just that little bit more interesting. The purchases I have in mind
are smoke bombs, sparklers and fireworks. These things included with good
camera/ editing techniques could make my production better than others in
my class.

Resources
I found my competitors videos on YouTube, which is the platform I will be
uploading my production on. This makes the competitions fairer as its the
same platform meaning theres no reason for no views.

Personal/ personnel requirements

Travel expenses There will be no travel expenses as all my locations are in
Henley and all my actors live in Henley. Worst come to worst I can drive to a
location, also Demi and Lottie can drive. If they would like petrol money for
traveling to a location, I am happy to pay them. However there is no need
at all for anyone to drive as they can all easily walk to the locations as there
not far from there living location.
Food expenses - None of my actors are vegan or vegetarian and there all
not fussy eaters. Everyday im going to buy a meal deal for them, which is a
total of 3 per person. Meaning I will be spending 15 a day on food giving a
total of 120 for my whole production.
Accommodation All the filming is done in everyones hometown (Henley),
meaning there will be no accommodation charge, as they will be staying at
their own houses.
Props expenses:
Smoke grenades - 7.00 per smoke grenade. I need about four. Giving the
total for this prop roughly 28.
