RULES AND REGULATIONS

Strictly no Spot Entries. Entries will be closed 5.00PM on 18.04.2017.
The Tournament is open to Tamil Nadu Players only.
The Latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will
be followed.
Time Control: Each Half an hour.
The first round will commence at 09.30 AM on 22.04.2017. There will
be six Rounds.
TNSCA registration is compulsory. TNSCA Registration fee is Rs.150/-
for the year 2017-
2018. Players registering with TNSCA should submit duly filled and signed TNSCA
Players
Registration form along with a copy of their Date of Birth certificate and one
passport size photograph.
The date of birth certificates registered within one year of the birth of the
Player Alone will be recognized and allowed to participate.
Madurai DCA Registration fee is Rs.75/- for the year 2017-2018 (for
Madurai players).
Players are requested to bring their own International chess sets (and
chess clock if, any).
Tiebreak: Buchholz tiebreak system will be applied .In case of tie,
prizes will not be shared.
The Chief Arbiters' decisions' shall be final and binding on all players
concerned.
Age proof Certificate must be produced for Childrens category
prizes.
The TNSCA /MDCA / organizer Ananthi Chess Academy reserves the
right to admit / reject any entry without assigning any reason thereof.
Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants.

Under -7 Born on or after 01.01.2010
Under - 9 Born on or After 01.01.2008
Under 11 Born on or After 01.01.2006
Under 13 Born on or After 01.01.2004
Under 15 Born on or After 01.01.2002
