Explain: _Majority of the students were actively engaged and participated throughout the class,
but one area
Explain: Students had lots of opportunities to engage in class wide discussion. Students are
also able to express information they already know. Students were asking and answering
variety questions which keeping them motivated and engaged.
Explain: _At the beginning of the class, students are given the warm-up on the screen and also
in their unit packets. Students were able to Smart Board as well as their Chromebook toward
the end of the class.
Explain: _Students ere able to answer couple of questions with their partners and check on
each other. Also they were able to go to the board and answer the questions on the board.

Explain: _Students were able to take notes as a whole class for a limited time and then switch to
class discussion, partner work and then answering questions on the board. They used
technology piece for the game kahoot.

Explain: _The class was kind of half magnet high performing students, they were already
motivated by themselves, almost not behavior problem occurred. Teacher was asking students
to either read the board, repeat something or answer a question, that was keeping them
motivated and engaged.
This class was enjoyable and productive. Teacher used multiple ways to communicate with
students such as, verbal, non-verbal, facial body and close proximity. She also let the students do
some partner work so that students can interact with each other and be engaged with the lesson.
Most of the students were intellectually engaged in the lesson, and the teacher was using
different types of instructional groupings which were helping a lot for students to achieve the
lesson objectives. The teacher also used talk moves to progress the conversation. Students were
extending the conversation and enriching it and constantly asking to explain themselves.
One area of improvement would be increasing the amount of opportunities for student-to-student
dialogue.
