REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2007-003

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF REGULATION
ORDINANCE NO. 00-02 "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE
COORDINATED EXECUTIVE-SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD EFFORTS
FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ILOILO CITY (CESPEDIC) PROJECT AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SUCH PURPOSE" BY CHANGING THE
FUNDS UNDER THE SAME PROJECT

Sponsored by Councilor Eduardo L. Pefiaredondo and seconded by

Councilor Ely A. Estante, Jr.

WHEREAS, Regulation Ordinance No. 00-02 created the Coordinated Executive-

Sangguniang Panlungsod Efforts for the Development oflloilo City (CESPEDIC) Project;

WHEREAS, the Executive Budget for 2007 increased the daily rate of Casual Employees
of the Iloilo City Government from P220.00 to P231.00;

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend the funds allocated to the City Mayor's Office to
P140,000.00; the Vice Mayor's Office to P120,000.00; the CESPEDIC Secretariat's Office to
P54,000.00; and to each of the 14 Offices of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members to
P72, 000. 00 per Office to meet the increase in the daily rate of Casual Employees under the
CESPEDIC Project as required by the Executive Budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:

Section 1. - Section 5 of Regulation Ordinance No. 00-002, ''AN ORDINANCE

CREA11NG THE COORDINATED EXECUTIVE-SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD EFFORTS
FOR lliE DEVELOPMENT OF /LO/LO CITY (CESPEDIC) PROJECT AND
APPROPRIA11NG FUNDS FOR SUCH PURPOSE" is hereby amended by changing the funds
allocated to the City Mayor's Office from Pl00,000.00 to Pl40,000.00; the Vice-Mayor's Office
from Pl00,000.00 to Pl20,000.00; the CESPEDIC Secretariat's Office from P44,000.00 to
P54,000.00; and to each Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members from P54,000.00 to
P72,000.00 per office, all under the CESPEDIC Project..

Section 2. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
