Ordinance Number 2 Series of 1995
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE ZONING REGULATIONS
FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYABAS, PROVINCE OF QUEZON AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION, ENFORCEMENT AND
AMENDMENT THEREOF, FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT THEREWITH.

Important definitions stated under Article IV Section 1 of the said Ordinance:

Setbacks : A withdrawal of the face of the building to a line some distance to

the rear of the wall below in order to reduce the obstruction of the upper
storeys of adjacent buildings.

Yard: An open space at grade between a building and the adjoining lot lines,
unoccupied and unobstructed by any portion of a structure from the ground
upward.

ARTICLE VIII (Supplementary Regulations)

SECTION 7. YARD REQUIREMENTS ALONG DISTRICTS. Yard requirements for
building structures along areas designated as commercial zone must comply with
the three (3) meter-setback. In this Ordinance, districts covered are :

Claro M. Recto Street Corner Gen. Luna Street up to Lucena Way (Lovely
Village).

Luis Palad Street Corner Apolinario de la Cruz to Doroteo Nadres Street.

General Luna Street Corner Apolinario de la Cruz Street to Doroteo Nadres

Street.

Doroteo Nadres Street Corner General Luna Street up to Mauban Way

(NAPOCOR Sub Station).

Quezon Avenue Corner Luis Palad Street to second gate of Tuazon

Subdivision.

Felimon Perez Street. Cor. Lucas Plata Street to Pedro Orias Street.

Epifanio Orias Street. Cor. Felimon Perez to 1st gate of Luis Palad National
High School.

Whereas, building structures to be constructed along residential districts will have

to comply with one (1) meter set-setback.

Ano ang R.A. 9262 o Anti-violence against women and children act?

Ang R.A. 9262 o Anti-violence against women and children act ay ang sadyang
pagpapakita ng pananakit o pag-abusong pisikal, sekswal o psychological.

Ang intensiyonal na pagpapakita sa miyembro ng pamilya sa ginagawang

pananakit, pag-abusong pisikal, sekswal o psychological sa sinumang miyembro ng
pamilya ay isa ring krimen under R.A. 9262.

Ang krimen na ito ay pinaparusahan dahil ang nagpapakita ng pang-aabuso ay may

intensiyon na magdulot ng takot sa mga miyembro ng pamilya at mag-aalinlangan
ang sinumang may plano na sumalungat sa kagustuhan ng nanakit. Ang sitwasyong
ito ay nakasaad sa Section 4 (g) ng R.A.9262 bilang isang uri ng psychological
violence na magbibigay ng mental o emosyonal na pagdurusa sa biktima.

Magna Carta of Women

The MCW is a comprehensive women's human rights law that seeks to eliminate
discrimination through the recognition, protection, fulfilment and promotion of the
rights of Filipino women, especially those belonging in the marginalized sectors of
the society. It conveys a framework of rights for women based directly on
international law.

Womens rights are human rights - All rights in the Constitution and those
rights recognized under international instruments duly signed and ratified by the
Philippines, in consonance with Philippine law, shall be rights of women under this
Act to be enjoyed without discrimination. (Section 8)
