Ticketing and Merch Package:
Ticket Policy: The event is FREE for all Johnson & Wales students and $5.00 for all guests of
JWU students. When guests arrive to the event they must approach the ticketing desk to show
their student identification card or pay the $5.00 entrance fee. After showing their IDs or paying
the entry fee all guests will receive a stamp on their hand to indicate they have checked-in with the
ticketing table and are able to go in and out of the concert.

Ticket Manifest: Instead of tickets guests will receive a stamp on their hand.

General:

Description of the Hall/History of the Hall Johnson & Wales Pepsi Forum Auditorium is located
on the first floor of Wales Hall. Wales Hall is named after one of the founders here at Johnson &
Wales - Mary Wales. The location of it is in the Jewelry District of Providence, RI and has been
around for well over 60 years.

Rules / regulations No duct tape, glitter, dragging tables or chairs, no fighting, jumping on stage,
no opening of windows.

Parking:

There is free parking available, two of which are very nearby the venue. The nearest one is right
across Pepsi Forum on the corner of Pine St. and Chestnut St., while the other is the JWU downcity
Parking Garage. This garage is only available for Faculty and Students, running on hourly rates
starting for free for the first half hour to the maximum of eight hours at a rate of $11. No overnight
parking must have JWU ID to enter.

Location of Public Restrooms:

Take a left out of the Pepsi Forum, go down the hall womens bathroom is on the right side of the
hallway. It contains two stalls, two sinks, and a mirror.

Further down the hall is a shared bathroom with a toilet, urinal, sink, and a bathroom.

There are no private bathrooms for bands, however, they can take a private staircase from their
dressing room straight to where the hallway for the bathrooms are.

Load-in Access:

Bands will enter from back entrance of Wales Hall where the doors are 7x6, where they then will
take their equipment to the elevator at the end of the hall. The bands will have to walk through two
more doors which are both 7x3, and then enter the elevator which is 5ft 6 inches wide, and three
feet ten inches deep that can hold a maximum of 2500 pounds. They will then take it to the next
floor up, and walk down the hallway all the way to the three steps where they will reach backstage.
The backstage door is 8x3. The bands will then store any equipment in the stage right wing.

Fire Safety:
In the event of a fire, follow the emergency exit signs that are located in the back of the room and
left side of the room. The rally point of an emergency, exit to the front of the building. On each
side of the walls there are fire extinguishers in the center with signage above to help locate. For
emergencies, either call 911 or campus security at (401) 598-1103.

Additionally, the big windows on the side of the venue do not open. However, at the beginning of
the event there will be an announcement made regarding the emergency routes.

Security:
Since this is an on-campus venue, JWU Safety and Security handles the venue's security. They
require that there be one safety and security officer for every hundred guest. For an event to get
one or more safety and security officers the venue manager or the clubs/ organization faculty
adviser must make a request to safety and security.

The space is a perfect square with large windows on the right wall, a stage, doors on the left side
when facing the stage, and the back wall has one exit door near tech section. There are 6 doors.

Backstage Facilities/Productions Office:

The bands will be able to use the corridor on the second floor as their dressing room. It has the
capacity of 15-20 people and its dimensions are 43 x 6'7. It has 3 windows that overlook the outside
and can be opened and there are 3 windows overlooking Pepsi that can be closed with shades. The
room has one bench and a small chair, but any necessary furniture can be brought in upstairs. The
bathrooms are accessible down the stairs and to the right (for womens) and down two floors to the
right (for mens). There are regular lights, no water and no kitchen. There is a mirror in the
Production Office downstairs on the right side of the stage wing.

The Production Office (where bands will keep all of their equipment) will be the right wing of the
stage. This room can hold 8-10 people and its dimensions are 11'6 x 15'6. It has 2 windows, a
mirror, the light equipment bow is there too and if any furniture is needed there, it can be provided.
