After reading the article silently for the gist,
read it again together

Each member reads a paragraph aloud. As you read you can pause, or a
member can say pause, to ask questions & make comments such as:

What does that word mean?

I didnt really understand that part/sentence
So, what they are saying is ..?
That reminds me of
I agree, because...
True. Another example is when
Thats an interesting point
That connects to .

While you read you can annotate the text

Circle new words
Underline and number the main arguments or key
words/phrases
Use asterisk * to mark important points
Draw arrows to parts of the text and write a comment
