Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and his
family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing
through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with
me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and how much I
love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed in my body and my soul.

Praying in tongues is not a one-time experience, but a power tool which
we are to use to build up our spirit man.
Jude vs. 20, But my friends, keep on building yourselves up; build on
your most holy faith; praying in the power of the Holy Ghost.
Saul hated Christians and showed his hatred by having them beaten,
imprisoned, and sometimes killing them. Then he had an experience with
God on the road to Damascus one day. His faith in Jesus Christ now
became as great as his hatred for Christians had been. Saul began to use
his Roman name, Paul, and spent the rest of his life spreading the gospel;
doing things like Jesus had done when he was living on the earth,
including miracles, signs, and wonders.
Paul wrote more of the New Testament than any other writer. He says in
I Corinthians that he prayed in tongues more than anyone else. He went
through a lot of hard things like being beaten and put in jail for the
Gospel. No amount of pain and suffering could stop him. He went
around laying hands on others to be filled with the Spirit with the
evidence of speaking in tongues.
When we put the Holy Spirit to work in our lives through praying in
tongues, we are drawing power from God who is living in our spirits
(from the moment we first believed). Speaking in tongues (our very own
heavenly language) builds a house in our spirit where we can experience
a greater friendship and conversation with God. We are actually making
the spirit inside us bigger to hold more of the glory of the Holy Spirit,
making us more powerful witnesses of Gods glory.
