to a four-year masters program for either Veterinary Medicine or Human Medicine.

Adventures in Veterinary Medicine Summer Program Tufts University(Cummings)


A two-week summer program, approximately 7 hours per day. Worked alongside experienced DVMs and
graduate students to experience a hands-on approach in the field of veterinary medicine.

Required to maintain a grade point average at or above of 85/90 per term, unweighted.

Leadership Experience/ Volunteerism

Planned and hosted school events, lead community service projects, and engaged actively in the student body.

Met with the Principal/Assistant Principal with one other student once a month to discuss plans for the Class of
2017 and brainstormed ways to efficiently broadcast information.

Engaged in community-service learning projects with both Alumni and active community members.
Participated in academic fairs and job-shadowing opportunities. Volunteered as a student-teacher for Memorial
Elementary School, teaching in hands on learning presentations about Paleontology.

Served customers and crafted sandwich shop food items working solo under time constraints. (5-10 hours/week)
Upton Recreation Committee/Kids @ Play Camp Counselor (2016) Town of Upton
Managed and performed activities for kids, played with and watched over 100 kids between the ages of 4-11.
(40+ hours a week during summer)
Childcare/Pet Care (2010-present) Upton/Mendon Families and Residents
Watched over children between the ages of 2-10, administered care to family pets including the treatment of
daily diabetes and ear infection medication (5-10 hours per week)
