Conte/West Hills K-5 Summer Academy

Summer 2016

All teachers must post student names and bus numbers in classrooms

All Kindergarten and Grade 1 students must wear a YELLOW BUS BRACELET before
boarding the bus in the afternoon. Write ONLY the BUS NUMBER clearly on the bracelet (no
student names). It is highly recommended to write the bus stop on the bracelet for K/1 students.

All K/1 parents must be waiting at the bus stop, or the child will be returned to Conte

All sites are assigned neighborhood bus stops. Students will arrive and be dismissed
onto the same bus. There will be no exceptions for alternate routes.

Transportation will only be given to students who are registered by June 24th

If parents drop off in the AM, students must be picked up in the PM

All students being picked up must be signed out daily by an adult

Students in Grades 2, 3, 4, or 5 must have written permission to walk home after summer
school without an adult

A master bus list for all students K-5 will be kept in the office

There will be separate transportation for the SOARS program

There is NO transportation for the PEP program
