A Note From the Director
Ghost the Musical is based off the 1990 Academy Award
nominated movie starring Patrick Swayze and Whoppi
Goldberg . The musical is a timeless fantasy about the
power of love. Sam and Molly, a young couple, life
takes a shocking turn with Sams untimely death. Sam is
trapped between two worlds and he seeks the help of a
phony fun loving psychic Oda Mae Brown to help Molly
when shes in danger. Yes, the Righteous Brothers Un-
chained Melody song makes an appearance in the musi-

This musical has been so much fun to work on and definitely a challenge.
Switching back and forth from the real world and afterlife to dealing with corpo-
rate espionage and of course an endearing love story has made this an exciting
journey for the cast and crew. My extended thanks go to Mr. Collins, Mr. Rax,
Ms. Herring, Ms. Fleming, Ms. Salinas, Mr. Wright , Mr. Lewis and Mr. Taylor
for collaborating with me on this project. I couldnt have done it without you. I
also would like to thank the dedicated Carver Alumni who come back every year

Lucero Aguilar is a 17 year old current senior at G. W. Carver Magnet High School. She was in the Carver Dance Company for a
year and enjoys to dance and perform on stage. This year she has decided to participate in the musical "Ghost," with the theatre
company at Carver. She is open to new things and expects fun and the best experiences in the process of this musical.
Joseph Arriaga was born February 23, 1997. He is a senior at G.W Carver Magnet High School where his journey as an actor came
to a start. Since his freshman year he has been involved in over 15 productions. From plays, to musical, to dance shows, he has
been fully committed to them all. He plans to major in acting at DePaul University in Chicago and pursue his dreams of being a
stage and film actor. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE THE WORD ITSELF SAYS I'M POSSIBLE.-Joseph Arriaga
Joshua Austin is a senior here at G.W. Carver Magnet and he is deeply involved in theatre. Since his freshman year he has been
involved in over fifteen productions. Some of his most prominent accomplishments would be getting a lead role in the UIL One
Act Play Porgy and receiving three all-star cast awards. He was also able to land a lead role in the TUTS production of Bring It On
the Musical, and perform on mainstage at Texas Thespian Festival in Memphis the Musical. After high school he plans to attend
the theatre school at Depaul University in Chicago to better his skills and start pursuing his career as an actor. Joshua is always on Top Row (L to R):

Elias Flores is a senior at G. W. Carver Magnet High school. He has been the sound technician for In The Heights, Memphis the

Charles Jones is a senior in the Performing Arts strand at G.W. Carver High School. He is an active member of Troupe 6753. He is
a member of the International Thespian Society and has been involved with the Theatre program since his freshman year. He has
been involved in numerous shows with Carver Theatre such as, The Color Purple, In the Heights, and YGB. After graduating high
school, Charles will be attending UTSA to major in Business Management and become a sports agent.
Dionna Renee Malone is a graduating senior, at G.W. Carver Magnet High School. She began her theatre journey at Shotwell Mid-
dle school under the direction of Jabari Collins. There she learned the value of hard work by working hard and those traits fol-
lowed her through Eisenhower 9th Grade Center and finally to becoming a member of the well- endowed Panther Players. She
broke boundaries by becoming the 1st African American female Technical Directors Assistant. Aside from being a Uil outstanding
technician, Dionna has performed in shows like For Colored Girls, The Color Purple, G.E.M.S., and In The Heights. Also she worked
for the up and coming theatre company BTC as a lighting technician and also for TUTS as a projection operator. She is also a 2014-
15 board member and will be graduating in the 100 Point Club. Now Dionna is the stage manager for GHOST! After graduation, Your parents love you!
Dionna will be attending Prairie View A&M to study Theatre Education to pass her knowledge down to aspiring thespians. She
gives thanks to her directors, Ms. Roshunda Jones and Mr. Jabari Collins for being her inspirations for wanting to become teacher
and exposing her to the wonderful of theatre. Dionna lasting motto is Well Done Is Better Than Well Said.

Nolan Pena is a senior at G.W. Carver Magnet High school. He is a viola player and a officer in orchestra but he has a passion for
theatre. He enjoys every single minute of being a thespian. He has participated in productions such as, The Color Purple, In The
Heights and Memphis. When he graduates he wants to attend Relativity University to study filmmaking & directing.
Ciara Sade Plummer has been in the theater program for all four years she has attended Carver Magnet High School. She was
involved in The Color Purple, In the Heights and now Ghosts the Musical. Ciara began acting when she was in the 6th grade, her
first production was a musical by the name of the Aristocats where she played the role of a sassy cat named Marie. When Ciara
graduates she plans on furthering her education by attending Texas Southern University or Sam Houston State University. Alt-
hough she is going to major in communications she will continue to be passionate about theatre.

drama department her senior year, but has been involved in the department since her junior year where she was apart of the

award winning musical production In The Heights. She loves to perform; she says she can fully express herself the best on the
stage. Stephanie feels honored and excited to be a principle dancer in this year's production, Ghost the Musical.
Raegan Robinson is a graduating senior, at G.W. Carver Magnet High School, who would like to give all honor to God for getting
her to where she is today. She has been in theatre all four years and has loved every single year. She also has qualified for Nation-
als twice and won two All Star Cast/Honorable Mention awards at UIL OAP. Raegan has performed in musicals like The Color Pur-
ple, In The Heights, Memphis, and now Ghost. She prides herself in being a star ensemble member-- bringing character and life to
the stage. She is also a 2014-15 board member and will be graduating in the reputable 100 Point Club. Upon graduation, Rae-
gan will be attending Howard University, on a prestigious scholarship, and will major in Public Relations. Although she is not pur-
suing theatre as a profession, Raegan will never forget the arts and all that they have taught her. Raegan thanks her parents for
always encouraging her to pursue her dreams. She is also profoundly grateful for directors, Ms. Roshunda Jones and Mr. Jabari
Collins, for pushing her to be her best. Raegan dedicates her performances this season to the memory of her late grandmother,
Yvonne Davis, who instilled in her a love of performing and the arts.
Core Richard is currently a senior here at G. W. Carver Magnet High School. She was born on the fabulous day of July 21, 1997.
She lives with her supportive mother, stepdad, and her younger brother, Kris. Originally a choir student, Core has been a part of
the Panther Players Theatre Troupe for the past three years. She was quite hesitant about switching to theatre from choir, but
with the encouragement of her amazing mother, and the confidence her incredible directors instilled in her, she has excelled in
this program more than she could have ever imagined. She has participated in countless productions, such as: The Color Purple,
For Colored Girls, Gems, and The Prince of Soulville. She has been awarded many accolades, her latest one being an 100 Point
Member. Besides theatre, she participates in Student Council, Business Professionals of America, and she is the president of the
Speech and Debate Team. Other than being a star component to the troupe, she has also been an officer of the troupe for the
past two years. Once she has graduated, Core plans to attend either Texas State or Texas Southern University on a full ride schol-
arship. She will either major in Theatre and minor in Communications or vice versa depending on the University she decides to
attend. Either way, theatre will be apart of her professional career. She would like to thank her directors, Ms. Roshunda Jones and
Mr. Jabari Collins for always believing in her and pushing her to do her best. She is very glad with her decision to join theatre, and
she has her mother to thank for that. Thanks Mommy!

Rikia Denise Stewart was born on May 29, 1997 to Dyann and Ricky Stewart. She is a senior at Carver Magnet High School. Rikia CONGRATULATIONS!
was a varsity cheerleader for Eisenhower High School. This is is her fourth and final year being apart of the Panther Player's Thea-
tre Program. She began taking theatre classes in the third grade. She developed a passion for theatre when she was selected to be
apart of the Houston Academy Drama Company in the sixth grade. Rikia has been in shows like The Color Purple, In the Heights,
Snow White, and The Last Prince of Soulville. Rikia was inducted into the International Thespian Society her sophomore year. She
would like to thank her parents and directors for supporting her throughout her high school journey. When Rikia graduates from
Carver, she plan to attend Lamar University to become a BSN-RN nurse and transfer to Sam Houston State University to receive
her masters in Forensics.
Kedran Dmon Wade. An explosive, high energy individual. Was born September 20th, 1996 and has been in the Magnet school-
ing/Performing Arts programs since the 3rd grade and has been a dedicated, enthusiastic member ever since. His motto is "hard
work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard". He is currently into his senior year at G.W. Carver Magnet High School. Ked-
ran's second love is Track & Field. A varsity runner since freshman year, he has competed in the National Level and achieved many
high ranked awards and titles. Through his hard-work and perseverance, Kedran was granted the luxury of being the 2014-2015
Student Choreographer. He has a number of college/university options, but plans on attending UTSA in the Fall of 2015.
Marcus Wilkerson is the captain of Benjamin O Davis Varsity Football team and also a senior a G.W. Carver Magnet High school.
He has been in theatre for all of his high school career. He has performed in many improvisational scenes and he loved every bit of
it. Marcus would like to thank his parents and directors for being his inspiration and driven motivation throughout his life. Marcus
plans to attend Texas A&M for mechanical engineering.
Jazminne Wilson This is Jazminnes final year on Carver Theatres stage. This intelligent senior is thrilled to have an opportunity to
participate in an incredible production. She is proud to have participated in two previously Tommy Tune nominated musicals, The
Color Purple and In The Heights. She is also very excited to be a part of the International Thespian Society. Jazminne is extreme-
ly blessed to have her family and friends as a strong support system. She dedicates all her work and accomplishments to her late
father, James Wilson. She also adds a special thanks to Mr. Collins and Ms. Jones for allowing her to be a part of such a highly rec-
ognized program. Jazminne Wilson plans to attend college to study education and later become an English Professor.

Elysa, you have a great smile and personality that coincides with
her unselfishness. You have also broadened your talents from
softball to choir, dance, and theatre arts. Your continued posi-

right people and the right tools to accomplish whats ahead of
you.
Elysa, you have always amazed me with your talents and you have always been very
