Biocon
Biocon is a research-driven, global healthcare company with
a strong matrix of capabilities along the biopharmaceutical
value chain. The company focuses on creating solutions for
medical needs in cancer, diabetes and inflammatory
diseases.
We have assisted Biocon by recruiting candidates for several
positions, including the Production Head position which is a
senior management role.
The Production Head position, technical in function, called
for significant experience in the corporate pharmaceutical
industry. The ability to connect with large client contacts as
well as experience with API business and cGMP aspects was
a must. Most importantly, the new Production Head would
need to imbibe the strong work culture at Biocon and have
the ability and passion to sustain it by virtue of his technical
competence.
We began a rigorous search process, sifting through over
50 experienced individuals and finally presented 8 of the
best and most qualified candidates to the client. The
candidates went through several rounds of interviews in
order to fully assess their strengths, their technical
knowledge and their ability to well integrate themselves
into the company. Finally, a candidate from a similar
pharmaceutical company, who is considered to be a pioneer
in the field, was selected.
Plethico Pharmaceuticals Limited
Plethico Pharmaceuticals Limited is a leading global
healthcare / pharmaceutical company with a strong
emphasis on herbal and neutraceutical segments. Plethico
acquired Natrol, a U.S - based branded nutritional products
firm that operates primarily in North America
We were approached by Plethico Natrol to place the VP
Finance at Chartsworth, California. They wanted a
candidate from India from a Pharma Company, with strong
knowledge of US GAAP, SAP FICO and experience in
financial services, Finance, Accounts & MIS, handling audits,
Taxation & Commercial and willing to relocate to California.
We scanned several candidates and finally were able to
present four candidates to the client. The candidates were
interviewed multiple times in order to assess their strengths.
The best candidate was offered the role and the position
was closed successfully.
