The main language of England is English. Their English is different from our
English, theirs is more proper. Instead of Hello or Howdy they say Good

Lavender Farm Worker/ BeeKeeper
Nature of Work
Lavender farm workers have to harvest the lavender to make into oil, tea,
flavoring, and dye color. Beekeepers care for the bees to make honey, and
wax. If I could combine the two I would have the bees pollinate the lavender to
have lavender honey, colored wax for candles, and chapstick.
Education and/or Training needed
On the high end, lavender farmers could have years of horticultural under
their belt, or there are short term, nine months, training program for the
basics.

For a beekeeper it could help to study agriculture or horticulture but for the
most part, workshops and on-the-job training is enough.
Qualifications necessary/helpful
It could help a lavender farmer to also know agriculture, herbology, and/or
environmental science to better their product, production, and farm all as
one.

It could help a beekeeper to learn agriculture, botany, biology, and

environmental engineering to better their bees and the productivity of those
said bees.
Current job outlook and future prospects
There is not a high demand for bee products or lavender. There is a high
demand for moving beekeeper. These beekeepers move their bees around to
get an array of flavor, however the honey price goes down because the
product is not as clean. The main demand for lavender is for flavor, oil,
and/or dye color, which doesn't change much.
Potential earnings both now and in the future
Depending on the size of the field and how much product is made depends on
money you make. A 20 by 20 garden the produces 300 bunches, a farmer can
make $1,800 a year. A quarter-acre that produces 3,000 makes $18,000.
Beekeepers salaries typically start from $33,840 and go up to $119,530.

Glass Plant Worker
Nature of Work
My great-grandpa worked at a glass plant working the forklift. A forklift
operator helps with the shipping process by moving the loads of glass from
point a to b. They have to know the proper way to control the vehicle.
Education and/or Training needed
Training needed to drive a forklift is a short safety course and a basic rundown
of how to drive the vehicle.
Qualifications necessary/helpful
A certificate will be given depending on the type of training received by the
operator (basic, refresher, specialist, advanced), the forklift type (reach truck,
pallet truck, counterbalanced front loading, etc.), the type of motive power,
rated capacity and the nature of the attachments. It is required that retraining
be undertaken every three years
Current job outlook and future prospects
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicted that the growth for material
moving machine operators, specifically industrial truck and tractor or forklift
operators, will increase by 3% (slower than average) between 2014 and 2024.
Potential earnings both now and in the future
The BLS reports that the median annual salary for workers in this category
was $32,090 in 2015. They predicted the growth of improvement will increase
3%.

In the US it depends on how much money you make to how much you pay.
The US government makes money from Income tax, Social
security/retirement taxes, Corporate income tax, and Budget deficit. How the
US spends money is for federal contracts, grants, loans, and other financial
assistance.

Overall, the US has a higher crime rate and a higher fear of crime. The US has
26 times more prisoners than the UK. The US has 82% more crime. Also the
US has 3% more capital punishments.
Relationship between the UK and US
Since 1940 they have been close military allies enjoying the Special
Relationship built as wartime allies, and NATO partners. The two have connect
over common history and religion.
