Music Industry Task

For this task you are required to set up and prepare for a gig, this task will
be in conjunction with your songwriting assignment. You are required to
tailor (or choose which setting your song would work best for) your song to
one of the following gig settings:

1. Pub setting e.g. folky, pop, laid back styles.

2. Charity revolving around the treatment of animals e.g. RSPCA, songs

written with justice in mind.

3. Charity revolving around health issues e.g. Cancer council, meditative

styles, uplifting and strengthening feelings.

4. Community event with children at its focus.

5. An event of your choice (run this by me first for approval).

After you have chosen your gig you must write an email to the person in
charge of the gig you have chosen. This email must be written professionally
and include:
Why you would like to play in this particular setting
Explain the song youve written and what it is about
Explain a short biography of yourself and your music style

Along with this email you must, on a separate page, write up an equipment
list detailing all of the equipment that you would need in order to play at this
gig.
