Character Analysis

In Shakespeares tragedy, there are many dynamic characters. The one

I find the most interesting is Friar, because he is loyal, wise, and a father
figure to Romeo.

It is very obvious that that Friar was loyal to Romeo from when Friar agreed
to marry him and Juliet, (Act 2, Scene 3) to when he told Romeo to leave
Verona to be safe and he would watch over Juliet for him, to when he gave
Juliet poison so that she could be with Romeo once and for all. In the
beginning of the play

Friar is a very wise person in this play. It has been proven many times
throughout this play. In Act 4, Scene 1 Friar says A thing like death to chide
away this shame, that copest with death himself to scape from it. An if thou
dearest, Ill give thee remedy. Which means that he came up with a plan for
Juliet to be with Romeo once again.

Friar has been the father figure in Romeos life. It has been obvious that friar
is the only man that Romeo looks up to, he has been basically telling Romeo
how and what he needs to do in life (sort of been a puppet master). He has
helped him come up with plans to get Juliet come up with schemes to trick
other people and other devious things.
