But she named the infant Pearl, as being of great price, purchased with all she had,

her mother's only treasure! How strange, indeed! Man had marked this woman's sin by a

scarlet letter, which had such potent and disastrous efficacy that no human sympathy could reach

her, save it were sinful like herself (Hawthorne 142). Yet Dimmesdale congenially placed an A

on Hester to betoken her ignominious action. Thou the people didnt know who might be Pearls

father thy will soon know. Soon after Pearl was born Dimmesdale sat in an edifice with firewater

in his cup. As he drinks in walks a man and says, Thou you have made wrong choices we shall

all make an agreement to seem as if Im the father of the child. Dimmesdale replies, What

might your name be? Peradventure we can make that happen. The man replied, My name is

Aubrey also known as Drake. Dimmesdale agrees with Drake and soon spurn to take Drake to

meet Hester and Pearl. Upon arrival Hester agrees!

Caprice change that had been made Drake tells, I know ye have been hurt by one, but I

shall take care of you and my child under one condition Dimmesdale you must disappear or ye

will be defunct. It was amenable, six mouths later Dimmesdale disappears and Drake is soon

expectable.

As years pass Drake proves that he will have a wiry and stubble place for them known as

annals. Thee money thy making shall take care of Pearl. Soon after he woke up going to thee

store and never returned. Fain than telling Hester face to face he wrote a song saying, Im too

good for ye, Im way too good to ye, ye take my love for granted, and I just dont understand it.

As she sits and cries she looks out the window and think of all the misanthropy he brought into

her family. She has pick thy self-up to show that she is wiry for she child. Though she will

struggle to provide for her and Pearl she knew that she would have to make away for them to

survive without the town knowing what happen.

As a new year comes in Perl learns to read and soon becomes a hornbook. Not only

reading mail but soon discovers that her mother starts to have asperity with her. Soon to noticed

that the harshness was coming from her father not been around and not having an income as they

use to. As thee child tries to talk to her mother there was a knock on thee door. Who might that

be? she called. The voice replied, Its the real father of thee child. She jumps up concretely

and tells Pearl, Go in the back! Pearl hurries as if something was after her. As Hester opens the

door their stands Dimmesdale; coming to notify them that the tides were getting high and it looks

as if a bad storm would hit. As Hester hugs and kisses Dimmesdale for notifying her; Pearl seen

her mother and some random guy hugging and kissing and run right pass them to go to the

church. Just as thy see Pearls sprint pass the storm hits, Hester thinks, This is a stigma that god

has sent to me. Just after the storm hit it was no more Pearl, Hester or Dimmesdale seen ever

aging. At least the family died together even Pearl didnt know that Dimmesdale was her real

father.
