The church progresses on her pilgrimage amidst this worlds

persecutions and Gods consolations.

The world is full of imperfect people. God does not expect any of
us to be perfect. However, as a Christian we are called to sacrifice
everything for God. Even if you are facing judgment for your religion,
God calls us to defend his name and trust in him that staying faithful
will be the most rewarding in the end.
Since the beginning of Christianity, Christians have been facing
persecutions. The Apostles did their best to preach the good news of
Jesus Christ even after his ascension. In many cases this led to death
and suffering. Although, remaining faithful when you know it would
hurt you is extremely difficult, God tells us that he will stay by our side,
and we will be rewarded in heaven with him. In my life, I am not being
faced with challenges nearly as hard as the Apostles were regarding
my faith. However, in our daily life God still challenges us. Whether its
through challenging us to participate in mass, or stick up for someone
and do the right thing, God is always testing our faith. Your friends or
even your family may judge you or tell you that your beliefs are wrong.
Although, it may not seem big compared to life or death situations, this
is another way Christians are mistreated. Sometime, kids may get
bullied or mistreated by other kids in school for showing their faith.
Even if you get made fun of for talking about God or participating in
mas in school, the right thing is to remain strong even when it is hard.
God does not want us to turn away from him. He wants to stay
true to ourselves and what we believe in. If we let others persecute us
and judge us then we wouldnt be staying true and faithful. Thus may
seem impossible or extremely hard, but God gives us guidance
throughout our journey, He offers many consolations that make
defending our faith possible.
Often times, People feel as though it is too late for them to
dedicate their lives to God. Sometimes it may feel like we have already
turned too far away from God to be the kind of Christian he is calling us
to be. However, God offers consolation to these doubts. One way he
consoles us is through reconciliation. This gives us the opportunity to
feel like we have a fresh start. Getting our sins of our chest can make it
fee like we are being reborn in our faith. Often times, this is the
strength and push that people need to get back on track with their
relationship with God.
Another consolation God provides us with is worship
opportunities and prayer. Sometimes fear can be controlling of your
life. In my opinion, the only thing stronger then fear is hope. I believe
that through prayer God is providing us with strength and hope.
Instead of just showing our faith in private, God calls us to defend our
faith, and live a life that shows we are Christians. People should know
that you believe in Jesus Christ based of your actions, life style, and
words. Praying to God can give you the confidence
