Prevention
Avoidance of unnecessary or poorly timed cesarean section
Appropriate management of high risk pregnancy and labor
Prediction and possible in utero treatment of pulmonary immaturity
Dexamethasone or betamethasone to women
o 48-72 hours before delivery of fetuses
o At 32 weeks or less of gestation
