Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks fungsional dan monolog pendek
sederhana dalam bentuk Descriptive dan Recount untuk berinteraksi dengan
lingkungan sekitar.

B BASIC COMPETENCE
Merespon makna dan langkah retoika dalam esei pendek sederhana secara
akurat, lancar dan berterima yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan sekitar
dalam teks berbentuk Descriptive dan Recount.

After this class, students are able to:

2 Simple present tense
Simple present tens is used to express habits, general truths, repeated
actions or unchanging situation.

The formula of simple present tense:

S + V1 (invinitive)+ Object (compliment)


It is for subject I, You, They, We.
.
Example: - I drink a glass of milk - you play a game
- We eat fried rice - They read magazine
S + V1 (invinitive)+ s/es + Object
(compliment)
It is for subject She, He, It.
Example: - she washes her hand
- He reads novel - It eats rice.

Note: verb eded es if the verb is ended by


letters X, O, sh, ch, and S. Like (go, fix,
wash, pass, and watch)

Example of Descriptive text

Farah Quinn
Farah quinn is one of the famous chefs in Indonesia. Her full
name is Farah Farhanah Quinn. She was born on April 1980 in
bandung. She has brown hair and a slim body. Her tall is about 170
cm.
Farah spent his childhood at Sumatra archipelago. She attend a
high school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then she become a
student of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She choose
Culinary Arts as her study because she loves cooking. She
completed her degree in pastry Arts from Pennsylvania Culinary
indtitute.
After graduation, farah become a successful chef in USA. She
also became an Indonesian celebrity chef. She got Panasonic Gobel
awards 2013 as the best presenter for hobby and lifestyle television
program.
