The article fills up the gap in national publications concerning the ook Cerebri anatome by T. Willis. The authors
state personal view of characteristics of history of creation of book in aspect of revolutionary transformations of
theoretical and practical medicine in Europe in XVII century. The singularity of work for XVII century is grounded.
The relationship of the book with uniqueness of biography and formation of scientific interests of T. Willis. The
scientific priorities of T. Willis are considered as represented by materials of the book.
