FURORE 2017 REPORT

Furore 2017 is an intercollege Techno cultural fest of Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.
It was held on 30th and 31st of march 2017, over 45 colleges across bengaluru participated and
over 2000 students from various colleges took part in various events.
Rahul.D, 8th sem B section, Civil engg, DSCE Student was the Student Cultural Coordinator
of DSI and the FURORE-17 Student Head .He organized the fest FURORE-17 from the
root level and coordinated throught the fest with the support and encouragement from the
management of DSCE.

 FURORE INAUGURAL FUNCTION

Furore inaugural function at the PC Sagar Auditorium at 10:00 AM

The Chief guests for the inaugural function were Mr. Manju Mandavya, renowned Film Director,
Shri. Galiswamy, Secretary, DSI, and Dr. CPS Prakash, Principal, DSCE.

The inaugural function included the declare opening of the college fest FURORE-17, followed
by cultural performances by the students of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
LIST OF EVENTS IN FURORE 2017
The Disciplinary Committee took the responsibility of controlling the crowd and
helping the CORE TEAM in the successful running of the events. Many of the civil
dept students have actively volunteered and made it as success.
The main highlight of this years FURORE-17 was the PRONITES which included
the performance of the band PEEPLE TREE under the banner COKE STUDIO on
the night of 30th March 2017 and the DJ NITE which featured International artists
like DJ UNIVZ and DJ OLLY ESSE on the second day of the fest.

 To add to this, there was a STAND UP COMEDY SHOW by SAPAN VERMA,
renowned Stand Up Comedy artist, to the audience of Dayananda Sagar Institutions,
held in Dr.D. Premachandra Sagar Auditorium, DSI Campus on the second day
around 2:00 PM.

The overall participation and enthusiasm poured in by the students of Dayananda

Sagar College of Engineering and other Colleges was in huge amount which resulted
in the great exposure of talents of the students and which helped in the success of
the fest FURORE-17.

The fest also became a hit due to the constant support

by the management especially, Shri. Galiswamy, Secretary, DSI, and Dr. CPS Prakash,
Principal, DSCE and their overall cooperation.
