Project Proposal

Description

This project is about Singapore and Malaysia including details and backgrounds
about each country and relationship between those. This project will consist of timeline
including the significant events from the beginning when Singapore was still Malaya, british
colony, and separated from Malaysia. Our project includes the important leader from both
Singapore and Malaysia. The main focus of this project will be about causes, conduct and
consequences of the separation between Malaysia and Singapore.

Purpose

What is this project for? Why is it being made?

This project is for understanding and learning the relationship between Singapore and
Malaysia especially focusing on the roles of leaders. Also the conflicts between these two
countries and how they influence each others in the modern world.

Research Questions

1. (What do I want to learn about?)

- To have better understanding about relationship between Singapore and Malaysia.
- To focus on the power of countries leaders.
2. (What do I want to find out?)
- Cause, conduct and consequences of separation between Malaysia and Singapore.
- How do their leaders have major influences on each event that related to separation
of these countries?
- Who decided and why they decided to separate?
- Background about the leaders in the countries.
- How do people lives change in terms of culture, education, politics, and tradimg after
the separation?
- Which causes that make Singapore become MDC (more developed country) while
Malaysia is still LDC (less developed country)?
- What are the differences between Malayans and Malaysians?

 - Why did they separate and how?
- What are the consequences of the separation?
- What would modern Singapore and Malaysia be like if Singapore today were still part
of Malaysia today?
