Description E-Management application is responsible for managing content of various


manuals and task card printing.

Task card printing requires conversion of SGML data into xml, loading of this
converted data into documentum, extraction of the specified data whenever user
requests, type conversion of data into the required format ,combining the data
into one file and sending that file to the required printer for printing.

ADOC is the Airbus supplied application used for building and displaying of
aircraft manuals. The manuals are received from Boeing and Airbus in the form
of SGML and graphics on CD/DVD. Some manuals are received in the PDF
format. The SGML data is prepared and loaded into the system for publishing by
the ADOC publisher application. Once the database of manuals has been created,
the manuals are made available via the ADOC navigator viewer on staging
environment.

Other works consists of updating the manuals in documentum which involves


working with workflows and distribution of data to the publishing server.

Description L.A.M.S is a web-based application developed for Qantas which aims to provide
business solution for the Lounge Management.

It is used to study Lounge statistics. It records flow of passengers at Qantas


Lounges.

It has the capability to capture data via various hardware devices like scanners
and swipe keyboards. Data can be directly recorded in the application by swiping
boarding documents of the passengers.

LAMS has centralized database. It is used to generate various types of reports


that can be used for billing the airlines whose passengers have accessed the
Qantas lounges.

It also performs validations on the passenger data before allowing or denying


access to the lounge. It has user-friendly behavior and customized look and feel.
