Minimum Requirement
At minimum, you need a
3-month single entry tourist visa
to participate in the
AIESEC Global Volunteer Program
in Vietnam
 Your Options
1. RECOMMENDED OPTION: Use PolViet for Visa on Arrival,
our partner for visa processing for all exchange participants
coming to Vietnam
Fixed prices
Very rare, additional prices depending on which country you are from
2. Apply at your nearest Vietnam Embassy. A quick google search
to figure out where your embassy is!
Note that all Vietnamese embassies have different prices

The Process Step 1

qScan version of your passport (page with picture color & clear
quality)
qDate of arrival (landing in VIETNAM)
qSelect what type of visa desired
3-month single entry tourist visa ($25 USD)
3-month multiple entry tourist visa ($50 USD)
Note, prices/conditions might change depending on your country
The Process Step 2
q Step 2: Email polviet@gmail.com, aiesec@polviet.com,
vietnam.igv@aiesec.net, and your EP manager all documents in
Step 1 using the following email format
Hello PolViet,
I would like to apply for a [visa type desired] to Vietnam. Please
find all necessary documents attached.

The Process Step 3
q Receive information from PolViet and follow their instructions
qPayment options:
1. BY bank transfer USD / very expensive, we do not recommend it
2. BY credit card USD / easy and smooth serviced by link on PolViet
page / operated by paypal so commission might be applied.
3. BY bank transfer in EUR / for EU citizens. Easy and quick all EU
member states has max 1.25EUR cost of transfer. Doesnt matter
what state it is.
4. BY paypal in USD / follow policy of paypal.com some charges might
be applied.
Vietnamese Embassy
 Requirement list
*note, subject to be changed depending on your embassy
q Visa payment (prices depend on Vietnamese embassy in your country)
q Visa application form (found on the website of Vietnamese Embassy of
your country)
q 2 photos of passport regulation size (required)
q Passport with a validity of at least 6 months (required)
q Plane ticket details
q Letter stating your purpose of travel to Vietnam (preferred)
q Individual bank statement for last 6 months (preferred)
q Pre-arrival clearance of the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public
Security of Vietnam or from the Consular Department of Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam (preferred)
 Visa Exemptions
There are a few countries that can enter into Vietnam visa-free
for a certain duration, however the visa-free duration is not
sufficient for our Global Volunteer Program. You need to be in
Vietnam for a minimum of 42 days
