Job Profile :

I am working as electric arc furnace melter with electric

arc furnace capacity of 50tn.
 I have good knowledge in making different types (200
series, 300 series, 400 series, special grades, alloy steel
CL-II, L grades and LER grades ) of stainless steel grades
through Electric Arc Furnace and AOD. I also have good
knowledge in scrap charge preparation and AOD.

I am also interested to work in field to quality control,

Metal Fabrication, Non-ferrous metal industries and other
best field in metallurgy engineering and material science
applications.

Job Responsibilities:

To manage material on shop floor

To manage FES Speed,
To take a charging at proper time,

To supervise and make melt for AOD at best power and

timings with good yield of scrap and low electrode
consumptions,

To tap melt as per requirement from AOD.

Observe furnace lining and EBT after each heat and

give instructions for fettling, gunning and EBT repairing,

EBT preparing, Furnace lining, patching and all type

furnace work, safety of all workers on shop floor,

Fill details in ERP, fill log shits, Manage and fill details in
ISO registers,

Prepare reports and present to seniors,

Studies for process improvement and safety.
