Septic Tank

Septic tanks are also known as the septic system is a small scale sewage
treatment system; sewage treatment tank is commonly used in private
homes, residential area. Generally, the term refers to an environment of
septic anaerobic bacteria builds up in the tank which decomposes the
waste into the tank.

Building material septic tank usually brick, concrete, fiber material

(fiberglass) or plastic. The shape of the septic tank is usually a square
(built of concrete) or cylindrical (from plastic or fiber material).

The waste will enter the first chamber of the tank and cause solids to
precipitate soluble and a floating hull. Precipitate solid material will be
described in anaerobic causing reduced volume of solid material. Liquid
material will flow through the divider wall into the second chamber and
solids precipitate. Excess fluid from the second column will be removed
from the outlet to drain through the effluent pipe.

Wastes that are not degraded by the anaerobic system will cause the
septic tank is full. When this happens, the waste would be removed
manually using a vacuum pump.
