Theme: Prayer for The Ungrateful

Reading: Why, LORD, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? Psalm 10:1 NABRE.

Reflection: When times are hard and things dont start to get better for people, they feel alone. As if God isnt there

to help them through the tough times in their life. God is always watching over us, he will help us when we need

him. Some people dont understand that they are going to get through the situation. People need to have faith in God

and in themselves that they will get through the times of sadness and will get back to a happier place. During and

after war many soldiers come home different, maybe not themselves because of what they have experienced. They

have nightmares and it affects them during war, they might not feel Gods presence with them because of all the

conflict going on around them. By praying to God, He will help them to be forgiven for their wrongs and their souls

will be cleansed.

Prayer: Prayer for the Ungrateful and Terror Struck Soldiers and Citizens

Lord help the ungrateful;

For they dont see your presence,

They feel alone in times of need,

Help them to know you and your love every day;

Let the soldiers who dont feel your presence with them be happy after their battle,

Let them go home to their families in peace,

Dont let them be haunted by the nightmares of war

God help these people through their tortures
