Sinners: Large percentage of players have committed these offenses at
least once
 CIRCLE 1 RING 1 HOLDING
Penalty: These players prevented other players
from making a play by either holding their stick,
jersey, or bodies
Punishment: These sinners are forced to walk on
their hands for eternity with blood rushing to
their heads
 CIRCLE 1 RING 2 - TRIPPING
Penalty: These players used their stick or bodies to trip another player on the
ice
Punishment: These sinners reside in a white abyss alone and often lose their
balance at unexpected times
 CIRCLE 1 RING 3 - KNEEING
Penalty: These players used their knees to trip another player and to possibly
injure them
Punishment: These sinners also reside in a white abyss but are crippled up to
their thighs
 CIRCLE 1 RING 4 - CLIPPING
Penalty: These players hit other players on
their lower bodies
Punishment: These sinners are free falling in a
pitch black hole. They do not know when
they will reach the bottom
 CIRCLE 1 RING 5 - HOOKING
Penalty: These players used their sticks to restrain other players from making
plays
Punishment: These sinners are restrained and are unable to move for eternity
 CIRCLE 1 RING 6 - ELBOWING
Penalty: These players used their elbows to check other players with an intent
to hurt them
Punishment: These sinners have no function within their bodies and are
forced to lie motionless for eternity
 CIRCLE 1 RING 7 HIGH STICKING
Penalty: These players intentionally play their sticks above the shoulder
height of another player, often causing them severe pain
Punishment: In life these sinners caused pain towards the head of others,
therefore their heads are beaten by demons
 CIRCLE 1 RING 8 DELAYING THE GAME
Penalty: These players somehow caused a delay in the game that was
deemed as an offense
Punishment: These sinners are always living in the past and have to
constantly relive their worst memories
 CIRCLE 1 RING 9 CROSS CHECKING
Penalty: These players used their sticks to hit an opposing player. This is one of
the most painful forms of hitting in the game
Punishment: These sinners are in constant pain and are repeatedly pushed
around by other souls
 CIRCLE 1 RING 10 UNSPORTSMANLIKE
CONDUCT
Penalty: This sin goes against the basic rules of
conduct within the sport such as not shaking an
opposing players hand at the end of a playoff
series
Punishment: These sinners are ignored by all
other lifeforms; However, they always search for
attention
 CIRCLE 2 - ROUGHING
Penalty: These players push each other and cause altercations
Sinners: Large percentage of players have also done this sin
Punishment: These sinners have their limbs deformed and are walked upon
by demons
 CIRCLE 3 INTERFERING WITH REFEREES
Penalty: These players in some way attempted to hurt or argue with the
referees
Sinner: Dennis Wideman, Antoine Vermette
Punishment: These sinners suffer from loud voices in their heads and bleed
from their ears
 CIRCLE 4 - CHEATING
Penalty: These players do, use, or wear something that helps them to
increase their performance in the game that the rules prohibit
Sinners: Marty McSorley
Punishment: These sinners are ripped apart and eaten by other souls and
demons
 CIRCLE 5 INTERFERING THE GOALTENDER
Penalty: These players in some way hurt the goaltender or prevent the goalie
from making a play
Sinners: Chris Kreider, Milan Lucic
Punishment: These players are blinded and are always unaware of what is
going on around them
 CIRCLE 6 RING 1 - CHARGING
Penalty: These players charge into another player with an intent to hurt
them to cause disruptions within the game
Sinners: Justin Abdelkader, Harry Zolnierczyk
Punishment: These souls charge at one another and are unable to stop
 CIRCLE 6 RING 2 HEAD CONTACT
Penalty: These players intentionally hit
the heads of other players on a hit
causing severe pain within the other
player which can be fatal to their
careers
Sinners: Chris Neil, Zdeno Chara
Punishment: These sinners are insane
and suffer from severe head trauma.
They claw at their heads to try to
relieve the pain, but they only cause
more pain
CIRCLE 6 RING 3 CHECKING FROM BEHIND
Penalty: These players checked another player from behind, usually into the
boards, which could be fatal
Sinners: Patrick Kaleta, Connor McDavid
Punishment: These souls are whipped and are placed in a pit of boiling water
 CIRCLE 6 RING 4 - BOARDING
Penalty: These players push other players into the
boards usually causing trauma to the head
Sinners: Travis Moen, Max Pacioretty
Punishment: These sinners share the same
punishment of the sinners that checked from behind
but the punishment is more intense
 CIRCLE 7 RING 1 BUTT ENDING
Penalty: These players used the butt end of their stick to hit the opposing
players
Sinners: Jason Chimera, David Legwand
Punishment: These sinners are repeatedly punched in the stomach and
choke on their own vomit
 CIRCLE 7 RING 2 - SPEARING
Penalty: These players used their stick as a spear to injure another player
Sinners: Brandon Prust, Niclas Havelid
Punishment: These souls are speared all over their bodies and must painfully
form their bodies back together. After this, they are mutilated by the spears
again and the cycle repeats
 CIRCLE 7 RING 3 - SLASHING
Penalty: These players used their stick to slash another player. This is one of
the more painful acts of violence in the game
Sinners: Ron Hextall, Alexander Ovechkin
Punishment: These sinners are paralyzed in every place where they slashed
another person and are piled on top of one another
 CIRCLE 8 - FIGHTING
Penalty: This happens when two players drop their gloves and engage in a
fight together with a clear intent to cause pain to each other
Sinners: Aaron Asham, Tom Wilson, Ray Emery
Punishment: These sinners are forced to fight off demons that attack them for
eternity. Each demon has the face of a player that that specific sinner once
fought
 CIRCLE 9 - INSTIGATORS
Penalty: These players instigated fights
between entire teams and created rivalries
that would last for decades causing pain to
multiple people
Sinners: Brad Marchand, Brandon Dubinsky,
Scott Hartnell, Sean Avery, Tie Domi, Bobby
Clarke
Punishment: This is the lowest point in hell where
these sinners suffer from unbearable illnesses.
