HISTORY Explanation of Codes:


In 1924, one year of college work was added to the program 01 Grade Change
offered by Pasadena High School and soon after another year was 02 Incomplete (I) Grade Change
added. In 1928, Pasadena High School and Pasadena Junior 03 Grade Change by Petition
College merged into a four year junior college. John Muir College, 04 Academic Renewal
was organized in 1946. Pasadena Junior Colleges name was 05 Disregard (Course Repeated)
changed to Pasadena City College in 1947. In 1953, the two four- 06 Repeated Course (Units Attempted/Grade Allowed)
year junior colleges were combined into a single college. 07 Units Changed/Partial Repeat
Pasadena City College, serving freshman and sophomores. The 08 Repeated at Another Institution
Pasadena Area Junior College District formation was approved by 09 Credit by Examination
the voters and became effective July, 1 1967. The name became 10 Course Entry Adjusted by Petition
