This stance is for the low chips with
the correct amount of spin as to allow
the ball to check and release.
In order to play this shot consistently,
it is important to not that the feet is aiming
to the left of the target. Any amount between
25 to 40 degrees is acceptable.
This stance allows you to steer the bal while
retaining a downward trajectory during impact.
Ensure the ball is in line with the trailing foot.
Swing the club low and slow backwards and
retain the same tempo on the down swing.
Hands remain in the middle of the chest
Club face will be de-lofted and the ball
will have a low trajectory.
This manner of chipping is the most used
on the professional circuit.
It is the type of chipping that gives a golfer
the best opportunity of chipping it
in for either a pas save or birdie or even an eagle

This stance is for a chip shot that
has less roll and less spin.
This is the chip that would be played
when a fair amount of green is in play
Again the stance is a little bit open
and aiming left of the target.
The ball position is in the middle
of the chest and again a low and slow
swing is required.
Hands remain in the middle of the chest
Club face will be neutral and will allow
for a higher trajectory.
This manner of chipping is required when
a golfer still tries to hole out when there is
less green to work with.

This stance is for a chip shot that
has very little roll and a high trajectory.
This is the chip that would be played
when little green is in play
The stance is a more square
to the target.
The ball position is in forward and opposite
the inside of the lead foots heal.
A shallow swing is required and as with
the previous chips, low and slow
is KEY.
Hands remain in the middle of the chest
Club face will be more lofted and
therefor the ball ight will be high.
This manner of chipping is required when
very little to no green is available.
Due to the high ball ight, very little roll is
obtained.
