IhavebeencookingsinceIwas8
yearsold,andyetIdidnotconsidermyselfachefuntiltwoyearsago.Ihave,however,alwaysconsideredmyselfan
artistwhodevelopedintoacraftsman.

Igrewupfocusingpredominantlyonmycreativityandembracingtheabilitytobringbeautifulthingsintotangible
formhowever,Ialsohadaverybalancedmindsetandnaturallygraspedscienceandnumbers.

Myfatherownsapalletmanufacturingcompanyhencebytheageof13,Ilearnedhowtooperateanailgun,butmore
importantly,Ilearnedworkethicandhumilityaboutbeingcompletelyselfsufficient.

Havingafamedfrescomuralistasamothergavemeafrontrowseatasachildtothelifeofanartist.Iwastaughtto
trulydrinkinthecreativenatureofmyItalianheritage.Inourhome,readingbooksfromthepenofPoeand
Hemingwaywasameanstoopenthemindandheart.
