Job Description
Purpose of position;
Commercially manage multiple projects from receipt of award until final account stage and in
conjunction with Project Delivery Manager assume responsibility for delivery of expected GM%
rate.
Build positive relationships with customers to improve opportunities of repeat business and
additional scopes.
Read & interpret contracts, ensuring maximum potential is reached.
Prepare & present project profitability to Senior Management Team on a monthly basis.
Highlight any variances or overspend from the bid and work with Project Manager to take
decisive action to reduce overspend through gains elsewhere on Project.
Review commercial documents, including applications & invoices.
Raise and submit variation orders for client agreement in accordance with the contract.
Prepare & populate revenue, sales accruals, reserves to the project cost account on a monthly
basis.
Review weekly site reports, updating forecast in preparation for reporting.
Proactively chasing trade debt & resolving any disputes with invoices in a timely manner.
Support disputed accounts, handling negotiations to resolve payment in line with terms.
This role is permanent, and commutable from; Burnley, Blackburn, Rochdale, Bury, Ramsbottom,
Accrington, Nelson.
