DESIGN PROJECT IDEAS

* Students design and construct a small model bicycle
- High Tech - Using a magnetic and electronic building kit, such as littleBits, students can create a moveable
prototype of a bicycle or tricycle.
- Low Tech - Students use recycled material and/or household items to create the model.
Students use a building blocks system, such as LEGO, to create a moving bicycle and/or tricycle.
Students can test their model/s using a small toy as a passenger.
* Students create a map of the village and surrounding area
- High Tech - Students use Bee Bots to map out and recreate the siblings' ride around the village.
- Low Tech - Using a large sheet of paper/cardboard, students draw a map of the village and surrounding area.
Students can use a small toy bike or their prototype to show where the siblings rode.
